My Greatest Desire Is to See You Grow!
My greatest desire is to see you grow.
I want to bless you with these excerpts from my book, “Echoes from Eden.”
Echoes from Eden…..
This book may contradict your theological trajectories and possibly alter everything you have learned from the church for so many years being in church and as a result, may wish to pile it up among trashed books from your library.
I do understand that feeling perfectly, because it wasn’t easy for me unlearning what I have learnt from church for so many years.
I fought, wrestled and confronted the Holy Spirit over some of the revelations written down here and other of my books; my head couldn’t contain them but my head couldn’t let go the flow of the Spirits symphony of revelations poured into it.
They were first like a fountain, then a stream and following the paths, it lead me to a river of unceasing revelation that all I could do was bask into it; I didn’t know this was going to lead into something bigger than I thought. The atmosphere of my spirit man had gone stale and I found myself suffocating in a religiously poisoned atmosphere of certain theological and dogmatic garbage.
Allowing the old wine flow out, I began to feel his life overwhelming my heart. I know if I must flow with the trend of this life, I should leave behind everything I thought I knew and from where I learnt them from – THE CHURCH!
My journey away from Church for two whole years became what I call, “My journey into the TRUTH.” I went scarce from pulpit ministering for a while, except for a few places whose invitations I honored while other times it was just the LORD and I. All I ever desired above all was His life flowing into my life till His life becomes my life and He kept speaking His life deep into me.
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE,” John 6:63.
His WORD is the agency that releases the ‘SPIRIT’S KIND OF LIFE!’ Every time we feed on His Word our spirit man is energized with ‘HIS KIND OF LIFE’ therefore it becomes our utmost responsibility to draw life from the fruit of the tree of life who is Jesus Christ Himself.
The more we feed upon the truth, (for Jesus is the Truth) He leads us to his Life – the God Kind of Life. We cannot begin to feed and ruminate on the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; we cannot build our salvation and new found life on the tree of the human and vain philosophies and knowledge based on research methodologies.
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God…… And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: {enticing: or, persuasible}” 1 Corinthians 2:1,4.
Tradition
If there is an enemy of revelation, it is tradition! Tradition simply means a handed down legacy from generation past to present and if allowed, into the future.
Even Jesus attested to the power of tradition when He said “…Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your TRADITION,” Matthew 15:6b.
Traditional people fights revelation and revelation is our continual focus on Him – Jesus Christ. Tradition is a veil that blinds the eyes of men from the revelation of the Spirit. It takes a forceful revelation to progress a generation sunk and stuck on tradition! Every time revelations are not updated by the Holy Spirit, it turns into tradition for another generation; tradition therefore can be an outdated truth which needs to be updated by the Holy Spirit who is the source of true revelation!
The people of Israel held tenaciously to the revelations of Moses which was given by the LORD for that time and when the time came for them to progress into higher truths, they could not and as such, were held captive by the tradition which Moses’ revelation turned into.
“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done away in Christ” 2 Corinthians 3:14.
We cannot undermine the person of the Holy Spirit. He searches even the deep things of God and reveals them to us His Church and as we grasp these deep things which are the Spirit’s truth, we are changed, transformed and transfigured into the same image from Glory to Glory.
“Now the LORD is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the LORD, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD. {by the…: or, of the LORD the Spirit}” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.
Fiery revelation is the answer to an aged tradition. The vision of the Father is to return us back to His original image in which man was created and to do this, He sent His Son Jesus Christ who became the visible image of the invincible God.
Adam was initially the visible image of the invincible God and only Adam knew what that image looked like because he was created in that image and in dying, he died with the picture of that image. Every other child after Adam was born in the image of the fallen Adam man!
They never could be the image of the invincible God for no man ever saw him (Adam) in that Glorious and Perfect state; all they ever knew was the state of man’s fallen glory.
“For all have sinned, and COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD..” Romans 3:23.
Men of traditional beliefs fight against those who are of the Revelations of Jesus Christ! We are of those to whom the mysteries of Jesus Christ is commissioned to…
..to be continued!
ECHOES FROM EDEN… Continued from above
“THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John,” Revelation 1:1.
You can never pursue after the revelation of Jesus Christ and still cling unto the traditions of men. The apostle Paul was of such and it took a very forceful revelation to break through the facades of his religious and traditional mindset.
“As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison,” Acts 8:3.
The people of the way (for that was the first name the disciples were called) had infiltrated and penetrated everywhere with their teachings in virtually every province of the Roman Empire and this teaching was spreading like wild fire.
The traditional leaders of the people could hardly contain it neither could Paul. The commercial city of Ephesus was experiencing an economic downturn for people were abandoning fast the worship of the great statue of Diana their goddess.
A fiery revelation is the answer to old aged tradition co-opting the gentiles into the covenant of Jesus Christ required a forceful revelation: God had spoken to the chief apostle Peter about this three times through the vision of the sheet of unclean animals.
“And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, and saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, NOT SO, LORD; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean,” Acts 10:10-14.
This singular encounter would have launched Peter into a new sphere of ministry but for his unwillingness to be opened to the Holy Spirit. He was so traditional enough to even tutor the LORD concerning His own ways… “…But Peter said, NOT SO, LORD..” Acts 10:14.
So Peter, ‘HOW SO?’ I believed the LORD might have asked him. Three times the LORD tried to break through the facades of his traditional mindset and mentality,
“This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven,” Acts 10:16.
When the LORD perceived that this was not going to work out with Peter, the sheet was taken away from him waiting for the right person and the right time till the sheet found the apostle Paul. Even the LORD Jesus had taught His twelve disciples that part of His assignment included the Gentiles but they could hardly understand Him.
“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd,” John 10:16.
Time had come for the Church to make a shift from the known to the unknown and usual to the unusual depths which are in Christ Jesus!
Friends, IT IS TIME TO MAKE THAT SHIFT!
This is not a denominational movement, it is a BODY MOVEMENT! it is a movement that progresses into Jesus Christ; it is the merging of the Body into the Head who is Jesus Christ. It is a pressing in unto completeness till we all come to FULL CIRCLE when the Father shall look to the earth and no longer see people looking ‘like’ His Son but have become ‘ONE’ with Him! Some of God’s people are beginning to flow with this insight and are eagerly waiting for the other parts to connect.
In a nutshell, let me summarize this with just this simple statement: this book is not a “How to do Book,” it is a ‘BEING’ book and my prayer for you reading this book is lifted from the prayers of the apostle Paul for the Church at Ephesus,
“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19.
