Mercy Triumphs Over Judgement
Mercy Triumphs Over Judgement
Salted with fire, yet you never relented,
You fell, you wept and truly repented.
I heard your cry, I already knew the end,
My hand of mercy to you I extend.
I know your weakness, I see your heart,
Don’t forget — I fashioned every part.
The righteous fall but always arise,
They trample the enemy’s incessant lies.
Wallow not in self-pity for it is not from me,
My shed blood washes over your iniquity.
A repentant heart is what I embrace,
In this you learn of my abounding grace.
Look deeply for herein lies a key,
A part of my character I want you to see.
If I pointed the finger and cast a stone,
With that tone will my love be known?
“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity,” Proverbs 24:16 (NKJV).
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness,” 1 John 1:8-9 (NIV).
“because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment,” James 2:13 (NIV).
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him, “ John 3:17 (NIV).

Addendum to this word (should have included this when originally posting):
I feel some may read this word and take it out of context… IT IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN…
The word was specifically for someone (or many people) who have been experiencing the refining fires which they bravely endured until something came along that caused them to fall into some sin. It is a word of mercy to them.
I also feel some of these may have had some form of self-righteousness in them and God wanted them to see their own sin. He is saying His Mercy is an example for us to be merciful.
Anyone who may be questioning these lines:
“I know your weakness, I see your heart,
Don’t forget — I fashioned every part.”
See the ffg. scriptures:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Psalm 51:5
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23
The sinful man is in us as Paul states here:
Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. Romans 7:20
Sin in us is a part of Gods overall plan of redemption because…
He was chosen BEFORE the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 1 Pet 1:20
Jesus was chosen before even Adam and Eve fell… this is God – the all knowing One.
The sinful man can only be destroyed in Christ by His Spirit in us – there is no room for boasting because He will do it as we walk in faith…
What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! Romans 7:24:25
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Gal 5:16
For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:13
We are powerless to overcome sin and God knows that, it can only be done by Christ in us…
It is ALL about Jesus Christ!
