May We Be Found in Him and May His Heart Be Found in Us
This comes from a place of deep travail, as I am ministering behind the scenes.
May We Be Found In Him and May His Heart Be Found in Us.
I have been asking The LORD, “Where are we collectively before you Father?”
I heard and felt His reply deep within my spirit, “On the threshing floor!”
It is a sobering time in the earth. In this Hour, here on the threshing floor, the Master is separating the tares from the wheat…
- Where will we be found?
- And what of those caught in the midst of painful, public exposures and crumbling kingdoms of man?
- As Christians viewing this public uncovering of sin, what is our response, and position of heart to those caught in the fray?
- All that is hidden in the darkness must certainly come into the light… but what of the souls bound by the terrible deception of sin?
- Do our fingers just point, or does our heart equally ache for the condition of these souls?
- What is required of us from the Master?
There is a serious call for each of us to ask of ourselves:
- “Where do I stand in my walk with The LORD, and whose kingdom am I building?
- Am I here in name only, or am I truly a deep Believer, and a committed follower of Christ?”
The finger of God must first come to our own hearts….
Each of us must pass under the “Shepherd’s Rod”, yielding to His piercing gaze and submitting to the process of His fiery purification.
Only then will we be readied to see clearly, with a truly righteous compassion leading us, responding rightly with the Master’s heart to the people and situations around us.
This is the time for serious personal introspection for every Believer, with The Holy Spirit shining His flashlight deep into our own hearts.
It is also time for honest and transparent conversations between members of those who are in the Body of Christ.
The Holy Spirit must be our guide as we navigate the ramifications of the current times and the events.
We are not all necessarily called to weigh in on each issue, but as dark things hidden come to light, it affects the psyche of the wider Christian Body, and we must respond in Christ.
As we each submit to the personal purification of The Holy Spirit may we also come to our knees before our Father pleading for comfort and healing for the victims, and The LORD’s mercy on behalf of the “blinded and deceived”who have been bound by their sin.
Prayer
Father God, we humbly bow before you, acknowledging your holiness, righteousness and truth, but also the greatness of your plan of love and redemption in Christ Jesus.
We are deeply grieved at the evil that has been happening behind closed doors. In places that were meant to carry your truth and your light, this was never meant to be so.
We feel deeply for the victims, asking that you would do a deep work of healing and release from all effects of trauma and harm.
But Father we also stand between the “porch and the altar” and ask for mercy for those responsible for the grievous sin.
We understand what is at stake in their eternal destination.
We cry aloud, and pray that there would be true repentance and a softening of hearts, a breaking of stubborn pride, and a revelation of the true cost of the agreement with sin.
We plead for those who find themselves bound by this great deception, knowing also that “but for the grace of God, there go I.”
In judgement, righteous Father, we ask that you would remember mercy.
In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
Scriptures:
“I indeed baptize you in (with) water because of repentance [that is, because of your changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins]. But He Who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy or fit to take off or carry; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fan (shovel, fork) is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out and clean His threshing floor and gather and store His wheat in His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with fire that cannot be put out.” Matthew 3:11-12 (AMP)
“And The LORD utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and [they are] strong and powerful who execute [God’s] word. For the day of The LORD is great and very terrible, and who can endure it?
Therefore also now, says The LORD, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]. Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to The LORD, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met].
Who knows but what He will turn, revoke your sentence [of evil], and leave a blessing behind Him [giving you the means with which to serve Him], even a cereal or meal offering and a drink offering for The LORD, your God?
Blow the trumpet in Zion; set apart a fast [a day of restraint and humility]; call a solemn assembly.
Gather the people, sanctify the congregation; assemble the elderly people, gather the children and the nursing infants; let the bridegroom [who is legally exempt from attending] go forth from his chamber and the bride out of her closet. [None is exempt from the humiliation.]
Let the priests, the ministers of The LORD, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity and spare Your people, O Lord, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the [heathen] nations should rule over them or use a byword against them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?” Joel 2:11-17 (AMP)
“Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth.
I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one may rob you and deprive you of your crown.” Revelation 3:10-11 (AMP)
May we be found in Him! Even so… come Lord Jesus!
As a prophetic Intercessor I am first and foremost a servant. Carrying griefs and burdens up to our LORD, I stand in the gap to bring His Light and Love.
