I believe that certain issues have not been really dealt with as they should and it is our responsibility to put these issues in their rightful perspectives. One of these issues is, “Why people still die, after they have been prayed for.”

Does God still heals? The answer is a capital YES!

We have prayed for people through several and many channels and have seen powerful astounding results! The barren conceive, mentally challenged healed and delivered, paralysed people walking, cancer healed, a young lady of 21 brought back to life and another child rescued at the point of death all to the Glory of God!

These moments are exciting moments in our ministry, but on the contrary, we have also seen people pass on after prayers. The question is, “Lord, why?”

I weep in my heart when I see such, and may not be able to give an appropriate answer, mostly when the person who is bereaved, saw God heal others. It makes them feel less loved by God.

I think we should address this head long. That your loved one dies of sickness after much prayers offered, does not mean that he is less loved or going to help as some Christian sects propose.

Elisha the prophet died of sickness and so many others too! Many men and women of God have also passed through this medium!

You see, God is sovereign and can choose any channel He wishes to call His own home. It may be through sickness, accident, war, etc! It doesn’t matter how they die, but where they appear after they die!

There have been times I have so prayed FAITH for healing and for dying! Yes.. There are people God tells me will not make it, but that I should point them to Christ on their death bed.

One such in 1997, was a female cousin of mine. After pointing her to Christ she passed on few minutes, smiling. God calls the righteous home and many people seldom know that He keeps them from the evil that is.

Above all, let’s remember, there is a TIME to be BORN and a TIME to DIE! if it is their time, then God may just do it – call them home!
