I was 15 years old… The next day May 1st was my 16th Birthday. I had planned on sneaking out to go with my older brother and since I was turning 16, thought it was time to hang out with the guys and gals that drank, smoked pot, and who were popular (cool).
I never went.

43 years ago on this night/date – I gave my life over to Christ after having a vivid and mind boggling encounter with Him that opened my heart and eyes to His personal concern and love for me.

Instead-
I went to school and told friends about what had happened to me the night before. Several of them gave their lives to Jesus.

Week after week, many came to Christ.

Coaches, and students began to pack out our family basement with music and prayer meetings. I am so thankful that I was shown the Love from Christ so vividly and so young.

Truly, it has carried me through the hardships and challenges of life thus far.
