Making Sense of the Chaos in the World
This is a call and a strategy to pray and break the spirit of violence.
80 days of preparation
God spoke to me that we’ve just entered a very important time — July 1, 2018, through September 19, 2018.
September 19 is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement on the Jewish calendar, which is when God seals the verdicts He has spoken over you for the coming year.
The LORD is calling us, over the next 80 days, to complete anything He has asked us to do.
We can also do anything that might prepare us for what God is calling us to.
There is going to be a major shift starting in October 2018. There is no need to be legalistic, but it would be good to ask God to show you more about this.
New strategy for attacks of violence
In Isaiah 59:19, God promises that,
“When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him” (NKJV).
With all that is happening in the world right now, many people are wondering, “Where do bad things come from?” and “Is God responsible for the bad in the world?”
It is the enemy who has come in like a flood, but God is now releasing a new standard against him.
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.” Mathew 13: 24–28a NIV.
The attacks we are seeing right now in the world are definitely not from God. This is the enemy and God is getting the blame.
Three attacks of the enemy
And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33 TPT.
What I am about to share is not meant to bring fear or judgment in any way.
God revealed three major attacks of the enemy that could explain why we are seeing people going crazy, killing other people and even why sicknesses are afflicting many.
God also gave the solution on how we can overcome these attacks and shift the spiritual atmosphere.
The three-strand attack from Satan is: fear, lack of love (hatred) and judgments. The attacks are global and have been unfolding slowly over the past few years but are now increasing in intensity.
Attack of fear
Jesus prophesied in Luke 21:26,
“Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken” (KJV).
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and, as Jesus said, it is the result of partnering with fear instead of faith.
This is what is happening right now! It is important to remove fear from our lives and instead be filled with the Holy Spirit and faith, hope and love, (1 Corinthians 13:13).
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love,” 1 John 4:18 NKJV.
Chronic levels of fear can allow Satan to assign people tormentors. This is why we are seeing so many people going crazy and an increase of killings and outbreaks of violence.
Attack against love
Jesus told us in Matthew 22:37–39 that the greatest commandment is to
“‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’ … (and to) ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (NIV).
Sometimes we can get angry with God and blame Him for bad things. We can also have emotional wounds in our soul that cause us to experience self-hatred, low self-esteem or anger towards others.
But when we get out of God’s perfect love, we open ourselves up to darkness, sickness and demonic attacks on our finances and faith.
Attack of judging others
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:1–2 NIV.
After teaching the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus talks about the need to not judge others.
When we judge others, we will fall under judgment ourselves. It is possible that judging others can cause us to lose our authority in prayer for changing the world.
God is calling us to be careful not to speak against what we do not agree with.
The solution to changing the world
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there will be no divisions among you, but that you will be perfectly united in mind and thought,” 1 Corinthians 1:10 NIV.
To prepare ourselves for reaching the world with God’s love, it will be necessary to rid ourselves of things we might have in common with the spirits of fear, lack of love and judging others.
As we do this, we will gain greater authority to minister to others and receive a clearer vision of what God is doing.
