Make Room For His Love Feast!
I heard The LORD say, “Make room for My Love Feast.”
This is a season to stay hot. It is a season where our love for God ought to be hot, ardent and flaming. The enemy is trying to weaken our zeal for The LORD but we are more than conquerors.
The faith of the ancients was awesome. These people in the face of all forms of adversities fought the good fight of faith fervently.
In the eleventh Chapter of Hebrews we are told about the victorious faith of the fathers. But I see that there are two faces to a victorious faith.
Receiving Deliverance From the Fire
“Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again,” Hebrews 11:33-35.
Staying Faithful Through the Fire to the End
“and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise,” Hebrews 11:35-39.
The most important thing in the eyes of God towards us is the manifestation of his faith in us. Our faith is more precious than gold in The LORD’s eyes when it is tried.
It is not just a deliverance from an adversity but your attitude, your heart disposition towards God during your trial matters.
The first set discussed above got deliverance. The second set went through it and some died in the fire, yet they all obtained a good report through faith before God.
The gospel does not promise us a life free from troubles, trials and temptations. God makes the way of escape so we can go through it. Whether we be delivered from it here or hereafter. Often it is just for us to bear it.
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it,” 1 Corinthians 10:13.
This is why the Apostle Paul made up his mind by looking at faith from both faces and drawing a conclusion that whether deliverance or no deliverance all is deliverance. I win either way in the eyes of God. My faith is victorious either way.
“For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain,” Philippians 1:19-21.
This is why the Apostle Paul was always content and joyful in the face of adversity. How can you be depressed when even death is victory? This is the genuine faith of a Christian that has overcome.
May The LORD strengthen us to walk through all and still remain faithful.
In an encounter with the LORD, I saw the LORD walk up to a Christian’s door and knock. It was quite a fervent knock.
The Holy Spirit witnessed;
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne,” Revelation 3:20-21.
Then the LORD Said, “This is the time for those who overcome. I have granted access to My Throne to those zealous with the work of faith, those zealous for God.
Walk away from self-sufficiency, self-dependence, and self-confidence and let My Love set your hearts ablaze.
Look to My Love and be not lukewarm and supine, but burning with the very fire of My Heart.
I desire greater intimacy, I long to demonstrate how much I Love you while you rest in My Arms.
I AM here with the riches of My Word. I AM here with the treasures of life. Make room for My Love Feast.”
