Made in His Image!
I may not follow all the rules of homiletics here, by quoting the scriptures with references, but I will speak to the scriptures of your heart, the depths of God which He has been sharing with me for the past 4 days now.
I was walking the street, going home, when I heard God say “Adam did not walk in the fullness of who he was created to be.” Wow!
Then He added: “if you want to know the power of the fullness that Adam was to walk in, look at jesus. For He is the last Adam and only in understanding Him, will you understand the power Adam was to walk in, and walk in it!”
You see, it’s high time we drop from this religious dimension of our ‘Christianity’ and begin to walk in our full purpose!
When God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness,” He was not talking about gender here, He was talking about a spirit and He called that spirit, man.
He made two kinds of man: male and female created He them. So there is the male man and the female man! There was so much power vested upon man, that he did not utilize nor walked in it, because he never knew such was in him.
Just imagine the power of the man to have direct access to the thoughts of God – i’m naming the animals perfectly like god would have. It was to take a long period of time before man would understand the powers he commanded. He had hardly walked an inch of his power, before the fall.
The man whom God created was perfect. The total man was endowed with all the fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5:22. This fruit was what constituted the perfect man whom God created. After the fall, man stepped down from that power into what we have today – the fallen.
Most of the power he had was shed and lost. In the place of the fruit of the spirit, came the fruits of the flesh. This is man at his worst!
The coming of Christ was for two major reasons:
- To redeem man
- To restore man.
In redeeming man, Christ shed His blood and in accepting His sacrifice we are redeemed.
Now His second purpose is to restore man – putting back what was lost. The fruit of the spirit.
Now hear me. You can never understand the power available for us till we begin to understand jesus Christ. Only in understanding Him can we truly wield the power we have been given because He is the last Adam.
Everything jesus did on earth was a show of the power the first Adam was to manifest. We do not know much about this first Adam, but for the last Adam, we do because of the records we accessed through the Bible.
When Jesus walked on the water, he was only demonstrating the power the first Adam had.
When He healed the sick and did mighty works, He was demonstrating the power of the first Adam before the fall which even Adam never knew was in him.
When he walked through the walls after the resurrection, did He do that work as man or a spirit? If you say spirit, how come He said spirits do not have flesh and bones?
Hmmmm… food for thought there….
If only we understand the mystery of our rebirth, can we begin to comprehend the powers at our disposals!
The sperm of a father is what gives the child a DNA. The (seed) of God is what defines our DNA. That DNA was in Christ and he manifested his divine DNA in character and power!
A time would have come in the life of Adam, when he would have walked upon the sea. A time would have come in the life of Adam, if need be, that he would been transported like Jesus did, if need be. Philip did it.
Peter walked upon the sea. Yes, Peter may have begun to sink because of his reality (the waves), but Jesus had a different reality, hence He could not sink, but defied the law of gravity!
Friends, I believe with all my heart that if we constantly keep Jesus as our main focus, someday we shall unconsciously walk in the fullness of who we are – the image of the last Adam!
Maria Woodworth Ettah reportedly was preaching and unconsciously walked away from the high platform. Unknown to her, she was suspended in the air, still standing and preaching.
I believe with all of my heart that the days of such will come.
Remember this – the sperm of a father is what defines the DNA of a child! If truly we are a product of the sperm (seed) of God, then we have his DNA in us. Someday not too long from now web shall walk in all the last Adam walked which the first Adam did not know before his fall.

First of all I am not interested to inter in to theological dispute. However, we are commanded to try the Spirit as in the following verses. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God..” 1 John 4:1.
And to ” Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. … ” 1 Thessalonians 5:12.
I believe the subject of Adam being the headship of the Old natural human race and the headship of Christ as a new Spiritual race for those who have repented and believed in his FINISHED WORK AT CALVARY is very Solemn subject and need to be approached carefully. We must hold this truth, Adam is a created being by the Second person of the trinity The “Word” who become flesh and dwelt among us” John 1:1 and verse 14.
John. 1:3 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:10 “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
Colossians 1:16-17 ” or by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him, And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
I believe the parallel between ADAM AND Christ is among those mysterious truth and we need to approach it in solemn and reverence. In any case, I posted below an article and a chapter from a book well known defender of the Christian truth, Arthur Pink.

Yes, and the sperm cell has an Y-chromosome and an X-chromosome which is transfered ‘by the blood,’ which also is God’s Wisdom (what no eyes have seen), the cross (X) that every one, both mail and females carries, and which is the same as “the precious blood” that is – from the beginning (of creation) shed for mankind.
This is also what Jesus mention as ‘living stones’ because pictures of DNA looks as ‘stones’.
The DNA is also the rod of God, which contains the DNA. The DNA in the chromosome looks (at special scientific photos) exactly as a living rolled up python snake!
The DNA also looks as an spiral ladder. That was about the seed of Father.
The mothers seed, the seed of the woman when it is ready for conception looks exactly as an lunar eclipse.
To build tribes there must be a conception (the origin of the name Aron means conception) and there are twelve tribes..
Twelve lunar eclipses (three tetrads) has been since Israel became a nation.
Now it is the ‘the evening’ and the beginning of a new day and the Lord is saying that He is at the door: “And evening having come, he cometh with “the twelve” Mark 14:17.
