Love, Wisdom, Power, Authority and Dominion
The LOVE of God flows into us through our intimate relationship with Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit. In and with that love flows faith wisdom, power, authority and dominion. In Christ, and Christ in us, we become who we are to be through the pipeline of God’s abundant grace.
God did not make His church to be nice. To me, nice is a shallow word implying an external or facade type social behavior that is only superficially polite. Nice is the mother of “political correctness.”
God’s design for His true church is to reflect His love and glory to the world, reproducing His love, wisdom, power, and authority of full dominion on earth.
God’s plan is for His mature “Sons” to rule and reign on earth establishing the ways of heaven on earth. Selah.

Dear Brother,
I am not sure I understand. But when I think of nice I think of kind. And doesn’t the word say Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:4-11 NLT)
Dear Hopeful,
The writer related “nice” to the “mother of political correctness,” not to kind(ness).
He is saying “nice” is insipid, spineless, lukewarm and lacking conviction, by not wanting to offend anyone.
None of these describe the Lord our God, Jesus’ ministry on earth, or what His Church ought to be.
In John 6:61, Jesus says of His own teaching, “Does this offend you?”
The teaching of Jesus was truth in love; it was not “nice”, nor was it politically correct. He never sought to please man.
I pray you get the understanding of this article.
Blessings in Christ,
Angus
Amen.
