Love is the Fulfilling of The Old Law
There are simply to many vain jagglers out there, trying to be teachers of The Old Law, not knowing that what they are teaching or affirming, and are actually bringing people back under a CURSE!
The Apostle Paul made it very clear in The New Testament, that those who try to live under The Law are under a curse!
“For as many as are of the works of The Law are under the curse.” Galatians 3:10.
“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of The Law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.” 1 Timothy 1:5-7.
There needs to be more well able teachers/ ministers of The New Testament/ Covenant, teaching on giving with a pure heart, as being led by The Spirit, which is Seed Time and Harvest in it’s proper context, and there is a proper way to do this, to ensure that you do not have crop failure!
Throwing your seeds around everywhere, and scattering them all over the ground, will produce nothing!
Number one, the soil must be good soil, meaning your heart must be right with right pure motives when sowing and sowing as led by The Spirit.
Sowing upon stony ground will cause your seed to wither away! It must have the proper moisture, which is speaking of a heart being led by The Spirit, because the water signifies The Spirit, as well as dirt signifies the flesh/ man.
“And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.” Luke 8:6.
So when you sow from your flesh, without the leadership of The Holy Spirit it will wither away! The Word of God outlines the attitude of the giver as well as obedience to The Holy Spirit.
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7.
Now we know that the original seed is The Word of GOD. We know that Christ was the original seed of God, sown in this earth and in our hearts by The Holy Ghost, as the early disciples received Him in the Book of Acts, as recorded in The Bible.
They tarried and waited for the promise to arrive, Who would always testify of JESUS and lead and guide them and us all into all truth!
So when you sow a seed, it will reproduce after it’s own kind. So whatever kind of seed you sow, will bring forth a Harvest of it’s own kind. If it is sown properly, with right intent, from and on the good ground/ soil. as Holy Spirit leads you to sow it.
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” Genesis 1:11.
Obedience is better than sacrifice. The Bible is clear about this. So then the correct way to sow is as The Holy Spirit leads.
For it is God Himself, by His Spirit, Who gives us the power to receive wealth, that He may establish His Covenant with us, as He swore unto our fathers, even as it is to this day!
“But thou shalt remember The LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18.
So, number two, it must be sown out of a pure obedient heart, that loves to give.
For God loves a cheerful giver, and He requires our obedience to be led by The Spirit, and in this He gives us power to become the Sons of God!
When you sow, as led by The Spirit, not only are you a Son of God and heir with Christ, but He alone waters that seed with the rain from heaven, to bring forth His desired Harvest/ Inheritance He intended for us to have through Christ, and all he provided for us through Him!
Sons of God have equal inheritance with Christ Jesus, so they are no longer slaves under a cursed system, but rather what The Bible calls ‘joint-heirs’ with Christ, under a New Covenant!
Somebody better Praise God!
Now sowing has everything to do with fruit, and this is what The Heavenly Father is looking for in us all, and that our fruit would remain!
So when the seed of God’s Word is sown in our hearts, and if our hearts are pure and surrendered to Him, then we will obey Him as He leads, and it will produce the fruit/ harvest that will not only multiply the seed sown, but also increase the fruits of our righteousness!
This is referring to the fruits of The Spirit as listed in Galatians.
“But the fruit of The Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.
“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:10-11.
So then the original seed, being The Word of God sown in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, is where real Faith begins, because Faith comes by hearing and hearing The Word of God.
However, we are still dead and unfruitful unless we apply the works, by adding to our Faith, as James outlined in The Bible, that Faith without works is dead, being alone and Faith alone won’t save you.
“What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without The Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:14-26.
This is how James outlines pure giving that is coming from a pure place. Jesus also addressed this in His Word.
Jesus says what you do for the least of these the brethren, you have done to Him. So then this is the proper way to give as unto The LORD, as the scriptures are quite clear.
“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40.
This is the fruit and pure nature of giving that God is looking for in us all! It is his very nature we are to be partakers of!
God freely gave His Son, as He freely gives us all things through and by Christ Jesus our LORD, and as freely as we have received, we are to freely give.
Freely, meaning not bound to a old outdated letter of the Old Law, that does not produce life and fruit that God is looking for. For the letter killeth, but The Spirit brings life!!
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36.
“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to The Law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” Romans 7:4.
You have become dead to The Law by the body of Christ, and you are free to serve in the newness!
“But now we are delivered from The Law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:6.
Marriage speaks of covenant, so the Apostle Paul, who is the writer here, is clearly telling us that we are not bound by anything written in the Old Covenant/ Law, because we are now under a new one, and can move forward and be jointly connected with Christ, in His new and living way!
We are not bound by The Law to be stuck in a unfruitful Marriage Covenant, we can be married to another, even to him who is raised from dead to bring forth fruit unto God.
I was speaking in this article specifically about giving under the New Covenant, however, you are not bound by the Old Law to an unfruitful marriage of any kind, or anything else written in the Old Law.
That Law, and it’s carnal commandments, was abolished according to Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:15 as referenced below.
He gave us two new commandments that fulfill the entire Old Law! Because Love is the fulfilling of The Law!
“Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.” Hebrews 10:9.
“Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even The Law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one* new man, so making peace.” Ephesians 2:15.
“Who is made, not after The Law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.” Hebrews 7:16.
“Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love The LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all The Law and the prophets.”” Matthew 22:37-40.
End of law, is charity out of a pure heart.
Love is the fulfilling of The Law, and this love is written in our hearts by The Spirit of God!
Without His Spirit or nature abiding in us, we are none of His! What saith the scripture?
You must be born again!
“Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see The Kingdom of God.”“ John 3:3.

When looking at the ” commandments” with New Covenant eyes, so to speak, we see the commandments as PROMISES. That is, we SHALL NOT have any other God’s before Him – BECAUSE that will be written on our hearts. Same for all the others. When He has fulfilled His work in us , we SHALL honour father and mother, etc. Here we see the two great commandments being our very nature. It’s His work and it is marvelous in our eyes. Hallelujah!!!
This post is an answer to an actual question of me concerning the law.
Thank you and Hallelujah !
Scripture tells us that the New Covenant is the LAW written on our hearts!!! The law that was a curse was the ordinances attached to animal sacrifices. Jesus fulfilled all those laws , nailing THEM to the cross.
