Years ago, I learned that Love is a difficult task, with phenomenal results.

That feeling when someone has done you wrong, and everything in you wants to retaliate; either by striking back, or even in withdrawal (which is still a type of retaliation); and reaching your hand back out seems impossible, because your flesh tells you that if you do, you’re weak and passive; or that you’re allowing that person or situation to win.

But the truth is just the opposite.

When you reach back out, you’re actually winning — because you have just let Satan know that he has no power over you, and that situation will not define who you are.

This is crucifying your flesh…

This is what it is to allow God’s agape, unconditional LOVE to flow through you. After all, what reward is there in only loving those who love you? Or only being kind to those who are kind to you?

Even the sinners do that. But we have been called a “peculiar” people; set aside, sanctified, and chastened unto The LORD.

Several years ago, I told all three of my children (now adults) that there are only two things you need in life: Love and Forgiveness.

The two work together. In fact, you can’t have Love without Forgiveness. And both of these define who God is.

Allow The LORD to perfect His LOVE in you, so that you see people the way He sees us.

Yeshua: He is my Life… He is my song… He is my Heaven.
