Love – A Grounded Persepective
Too many people have a paranoid perspective about love, because of the past issues they have had with a love that God didn’t ordain for their lives.
Sometimes we have experienced an emotional scare in relationships that scars us and causes us to rebel against any attempts of receiving love from anybody else.
We shut our hearts down, because of our weariness of opening ourselves up to disappointments of love.
Instead of allowing emotional healing to take place, we continue to build hurt upon hurt, until we eventually become unfeeling and unloving and uncaring, but yet we continue to seek and seize love from unordained sources.
We must learn to heal and wait on our timing for love.
When we wait on God, then He will protect our hearts from being opened by intruders who only come to empty the vault of our emotions, rather than adding to the treasures of our soul.
The value of your love should never be given to someone who doesn’t understand the requirements of true, pure, honest love.
The person whom God has established to receive your love, will already know how to love you at the value, depth, dimension and strength of the love you possess!
I’m waiting on God to release me into the hands of the one whom He has already taken through the lessons, to know how to love me from the Father’s heart!
He will love me at the same degree that my Father in heaven loves me.
After all, Jesus said ‘husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,’ (Ephesians 5:25).
Unconditional love and commitment that stands no matter what pain hurt persecution or battles comes against it.
A husband’s love for his wife will never allow the challenges of life’s persecution against love to stop him from standing, embracing, and being faithful to the love that God has connected to his life.

That was a most comforting word. You are right. I need to remind myself of this daily, yet I forget when life gets in the way. I am struggling in my current relationship with the man that I wish to build a life with. We have spoken of marriage many times, and I believed with all my heart that’s what we both want. Unfortunately, we battle in the flesh because we at not married. And life’s persecutions seem to be on our relationship. We havent spoken in over a week and I am devastated, my children also. I can only wait. I pray that my heaviness won’t last very long, and I pray for restoration. I just wish that I had practical advise that would bring comfort. Thank you for this word.
