LOVE!
The LORD is an ever present help in time of need.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
The forces and displays of God’s Love are beyond our scope of imagination.
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8
Even when we rally around God’s Love displayed in our victories — His love is still greater than we envision.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
LORD Jesus — is a “Faithful Lover” Who continues in His perfect Love while we commit adultery with other gods and lovers.
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37
Other lovers are generally those things that appease the flesh.
“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:8
When we make carvings and markings all over the face and outer body others may not recognize us; The LORD always remembers our names.
“But The LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for The LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but The LORD looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
We may walk in the shadows of darkness but The LORD is always offering light.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
The world chooses to condemn our behavior when it does not meet life’s perspectives — but The LORD never snatches His love away even in the most disgusting situations.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1
“The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3
Growing up I was a regular, skinny, and plain looking little girl. My hair was long but nothing else about me stood out.
No matter how I looked on the outside I always felt different inside.
I got along with kids my age to a certain point. My elders offered me the most satisfaction.
Older people had a certain kindness about their demeanor. They were patient, understanding, and knew the importance of encouraging a growing child.
Older people always had the attitude of you can accomplish whatever you set your mind and heart to achieve.
As a kid, I thought if Jesus was like old people and I wanted to be just like Him.
Everyone needs the loving nurture of an elder who has God’s Spirit.
Today I recognize that kind Character of elders as representative of “The Holy Spirit”.
Receive Love from the Father today no matter how unmanageable your life seems.
The LORD loves us so much that He gave us a permanent “Old Person” in the manifestation of The Holy Ghost.
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” 1 John 4:7-21
