LORD? Where are You, LORD?
Child: | Where are You, LORD? |
LORD: | I AM here, MY Child. Open your eyes and you will see. |
Child: | But the way is dark and I’m afraid. |
LORD: | Did I not say I would never leave you? |
Child: | Yes, I remember, but that was long ago. |
LORD: | I do not change. I AM still the same. You’ve wandered away; so just call MY Name. |
Child: | I thought I was following you. I thought I was on Your Path, so true. But I looked around and noticed You were gone. I’m sorely distressed and deeply forlorn. |
LORD: | I waited for you to call out to ME. I waited for you to whole-heartedly seek ME. So I let you wander for a short while Under MY watchful Eye; you are MY Child. |
Child: | I took my eyes off of You, my LORD. The cares of life over me were poured Until Your Voice was drowned out by the din Of the clamor of darkness trying to win. |
LORD: | I know the ways of the dark crafty one. But you must learn, too, and follow the SON. HE is the Way, the Truth, and the Life Stay connected to HIM to avoid chaos and strife. |
Child: | I’m learning to see, to hear, and to know. I’m seeking whole-heartedly for which way to go. I don’t like the darkness; it is not for me. I belong to you and want all to see. |
LORD: | I AM working a strange work that no other can do. I need you MY Child to stick to me like glue. For the darkness has encroached on MY American Land To kill and steal her; as if he can! Trust in ME; I AM working MY Plan. The Angel Armies have come at MY Command. To work with MY Children who call on MY Name. The world I will shake; not one will remain the same. |
Child: | Help me. I do not want to wander again. On You alone I will always depend. I may not understand Your strange ways, But I know Your hand holds all my days. |
LORD: | I’ll always respond to a true heart’s cry. On this, little one, you can surely rely. I AM your Abba; so look to My Light I’ll guide you through this darkest of nights. |
Child: | Thank You, LORD. I feel so glad and safe in Your hands. |
LORD: | It is a good day to enjoy being MY child. Your ABBA. |
