Look Up — Redemption is Near!
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, for the help of His countenance.” Psalm 42:5 NKJV
With all the crazy madness going on in the world right now, I do believe people need to be speaking to their souls and asking this same question!
So many people are walking around looking like they’ve lost their best friend.
All of us at times get caught up with what’s going on in the world. It’s easy to lose our peace when we hear rumblings of WW3 and pandemics.
Re-read Psalm 91… “No plague will come nigh your dwelling!” So thankful for this Psalm!
The Bible tells us to keep our eyes firmly set on Jesus, Who is our Hope! He is the only place our help comes from.
It certainly doesn’t come from a politician or government, does it?
The Media doesn’t seem to be spewing out joy and happiness, and I’m so glad we haven’t watched the news in years! All they seem to feed people who are glued to their televisions is fear, fear, fear. Turn that stuff OFF!
When did The Bible ever tell us to lose our hope? To lose our joy? It doesn’t!
When we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, we don’t hear the noise going on all around us. We find joy, comfort and peace knowing that He loves us beyond measure.
Go with Him into that secret place only found in Him and let Him comfort you with His peace and love. In His Presence there is fullness of joy! Hallelujah!
Yes, we are in the end times and things are dark and will probably get a bit darker before we get to go home. But… there’s incredible hope when we know Heaven is our home and it won’t be long before we’re there!
Just because the nations are raging and politicians are lying (what’s new there?) is no reason to be downcast or sad in our souls.
Find Jesus again — and let Him fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit and give you peace and joy!
Look UP — your Redemption grows nigh!
Even so…come LORD Jesus!
Psalm 91
Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of The LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made The LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:1-16
