Consider with me how important it is that we work within lawful boundaries of the Word of God and the Spirit of the living God.

Many today are calling themselves successful ministers, yet they do not strive lawfully. They evidently have both misunderstood or deliberately twisted the scriptures to promote their ministry.

To this terrible sin, we must say, stop working out of your own heart and come back to the Word of God. The Word of God was not just written for our comfort, but most of all for our instruction in righteousness.

Are we now going to claim to believe and follow scripture, then “Quickly” depart from it to serve our own agenda?

Prayerfully read and consider the following admonition by the apostle Paul:

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.”
Notice the crown is won by those who work lawfully…..,” 2 Timothy 2:2-5 (KJV).
