Living Out the 4th Watch!
2 Words in 1
Morning Consecration of July 29th 2016
“Watchman, what time of the night? Watchman, what time of the night?” The watchman says: “Morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; come back again,” Isaiah 21:11b-12 (ESV)
We are being positioned and aligned now for several reasons, In the midst of my early morning prayer along with my day spent in prayer and word study.
I have felt this undercurrent that is present in the midst of all the excitement of what the LORD is doing with and through us. (I then came into an spiritual understanding there are times that we are naturally inclined to move along our own course almost as if we have all the time in the world.)
I do feel an urgency of the hour ahead of us. I was shown that we will see great light in this hour but there is a window of time and then we will experience times of night seasons, what we achieve in the light will prepare us for the dark times to come.
We are being enriched spiritually and even blessed in our preparation for Kingdom growth and development. Our lives will experience God’s goodness in these times but we must be prepared for both seasons ahead, if not it would be folly.
Prayer, fasting and studying His word in His presence is of primary importance. We will have great challenges, with shakings and uncovering in the land and among the people. We must stay in before the LORD and not allow fear to overwhelm us.
There is a call to watch and a call to prayer. Because within this call is the resolve to answer the questions we now seek. It carries the wisdom to reverse even uproot those strongholds that are perceived by many as the dilemmas of the day.
This is the month that the LORD is calling forth watchmen to stay on high alert as they pray around the gates of the regions that they have been assigned to watch over, and encourage others to press into prayer.
Light will be shined upon on the present systems that are about to be turned inside out with all its’ secret dealings and lies that have been hidden but they are about to be revealed before men’s eyes.
There is about to be a transitioning of the people of God who will be unified to come out of the place where they are now, to the place of His Glory.
A place where we will see the power and majesty of the LORD even in the midst of His people coming forth in this hour.
There will be a power shift as the changing of the guards occur and the place of the evil rankings of the enemy will not prevail.
This marks the time for the hour of the watch. It will be a time when the LORD will move across this land with His mighty power as the works of the enemy will continue to be uncovered and the high places will be destroyed and its’ altars of idolatry, by the hand of the LORD.
At the same time in this hour of watching, there will be a significant impartation that will come upon the people to strengthen them, helping them to overcome and we will see a mighty release of miracles that has yet to take place.
For even as this is a time to watch, there is also a great significance in the cry of intercession across the land.
“I AM calling forth My Intercessors, Watchmen, and Gatekeepers and prayers will echo across the nations for repentance and honor, cries to cover and protect the land and SALVATION will rain down. It will touch many and begin a cleansing for those who have lost their way.”
The hand of the LORD is being extended over His people to heal and deliver.
As we press in and pray, we will move forward, advance and in days of light while standing in the midst of darkness.
Hindrances will be destroyed in the midst of controversy. For now we shall go through the gates and we will see the LORD of Heaven shake the very gates of the enemy.
Living Out the 4th Watch!
I notice that everyone has been having very transparent moments, well here is mine.
I came into the realization that my life in many ways has been like the 4th watch that I became accustomed to praying.
I find myself in a meeting place in time that was the entry way to knowing and understanding things I didn’t always understand.
3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. is considered the fourth watch, a segment of time in God’s word.
I have found myself transitioning from darkness into light in so many ways, in so many seasons of my life.
In addition to that prayer even when I was very young was something that I did constantly, (not because I was pious, no not at all.)
I found it much easier to communicate with the LORD more than I did with people.
I remember conversations that I had and experienced that when I discussed these things with my mother. She cautioned me not to discuss them with others but I could talk to her.
There are times that our lives are like a prayer; a conversation that we have had with the LORD while walking out things that we didn’t understand yet in the midst of those things we would begin to receive insights, gentle nudging’s so while situations played out we get an indication of the outcome.
Like a prayer. . . like one breath to another breath giving life and strength in times when no one is able to obtain strength, here comes Yahweh.
Thank God those were the moments he walks us through dark seasons and misunderstandings, hurt and things we might see as traumatic is rolled away by the closeness of the LORD.
We come out of one side of darkness to the other side of light by the grace of God.
Reordering and reforming can be the best things that can happen to us. . . it is like a wrecking ball to our flesh.
The flesh gives way to something greater called truth because we begin to understand that the word of God as it enlighten us and reveals things to us we could have never learned in the world’s system of knowledge.
For example, The world views things from light to darkness, from day to night.
However the Word of God teaches us that the evening and the morning was the first day. How wonderful it is when we can pray into the understanding with the light of the Holy Ghost concerning darkness and come out of it into the light of His truth.
After a while that light glows out of us and as we reach out to others who are looking for light, we can direct them to the light of Yeshua.
So on the 4th watch we start off in the darkness of the night and we walk into the daylight with great insight and glimpses of what is to come. Selah.
“And seeing that the light was good, God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning — the first day,” Genesis 1:4-5.
