Living Now or Living in the Future
I don’t want to say that I lived, and yet that I didn’t.
A lot of the time is spent thinking of this and that. There’s a lot of planning for some things that may not even happen.
There are so many “what if’s and maybes.” You know much of what we are concerned about never comes to pass.
There are the moments that come and go, and sometimes I miss out on them.
Sure, I’m there and yet perhaps I’m not fully there. A lot of times I’m living in the future, even though I’m here in the present.
How many of us are planning for events ahead?
Well, when they come then they come, but maybe just maybe, if we let go of thinking about these things so much, they’ll just happen anyway.
Much of what I often think about is the future of our country and the world at large, because of what I know about these things prophetically.
But the future is then and the present time is now. There are friends and things happening now, that may well be just as important to what is coming around the corner.
I’m not necessarily talking about a “be here now-type-thing” even though there is value in that. One can still be here now and at the same time, plan for things ahead.
I’m not a spontaneous-type-person, I’ll leave that to those who are that way. I’m a planner, but some of it needs to go out the window. Much of this comes from my years of teaching.
I guess the overall point is to not miss out on your times together with friends and family. We don’t know what any given day may bring forth.
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
