How strange this “FIRE” of God is in the reality of consuming the lives of those whom He calls to a walk in His Fire!

It is unseen, but felt. Surreal and yet never more of a reality in the lives of those who live “baptised in His Fire”.

I doubt whether there are many who have truly ever come to live to understand the reality of being baptised in His Spirit-Fire.

Although they may have received a baptism, not many, I believe, have come to live the reality in experience where they are completely saturated (drenched) with His Fire, consumed to the place where your entire being is aglow from within with His Fire, and where His Fire is literally felt in the reality of “burning in your bones”.

Many might have occasionally experienced the reality of His Fire, but few I believe, have lived a fully consumed life!

It is in the reality of living in such an experience of unending Fire, being fully consumed by the Fire of the Spirit of Christ, where He comes to become the One “Whose eyes are as Fire” and Whose feet as Aflame in us.

It is in giving ourselves to live so possessed — so completely owned, so utterly sold out, that there is not an inch of our lives that is not consumed and consummated with Jesus Christ, where we become true prophets of His Presence!

Does such a place truly exist?

I have lived there for seasons in my calling and ministry that stretched over periods of some nine years and then again five years of living in this place of unbroken Union with Him in the full expression of the baptism of His Spirit’s Fire being a living and unending part of my life.

I have also found The LORD drawing me aside to “rest for a while” at other times. Because over extended periods of living in this realm of full expression for years without end, extreme and total fatigue, among other things, begin to take a toll on a limited human body.

Oh but yes, it is real! This is the life and calling for every authentic prophetic revivalist to walk in and to experience!

A life wherein Christ’s Life is manifested and demonstrated in your life and where He is expressed in you and through you — that is what a true prophet is — a man or a woman so taken up into the Glory of God and so flooded with His Spirit that His Being becomes expressed in their being and that the Words from their lips are no longer theirs, but the expression of His Voice, verbalized and vibrated through their lips on earth!

Prophets live “GOD” and GOD lives in them and through them.

They are consumed individuals in whom the Life of God is Radiant and Alive and in whom and through whom His Fire never stops Burning.

They are prophets on the stages they minister, prophets in the individual lives they touch, prophets in the lives they live, prophets when they go to sleep, prophets in the night hours when the Word of God vibrates in their inner-being, prophets when they rise, and most of all, prophets in their daily walk!

Prophets do not enter their call when it’s time to minister — prophets are their call!

Anything less than this in the prophetic realm simply does not exist, even if you want to believe it does!

This “life in the Spirit” is what separates true and authentic prophets from their false counterparts seeking the limelight and to “live the life” of obtaining name, fame, popularity and gain.

The true prophetic call requires a life of separation — a life given to God to be governed by His Spirit and to be lived in sync with His heart.

God still works His original, authentic, life transforming Power where He finds men and women who are willing to lay their lives down, so He may come and display His Life in and through them, men and women who walk in integrity with Him, who have no personal agendas, but who serve Him for the sake of serving Him, and no more!

Authentic prophets are called to burn with God’s Fire and to mirror His Life in all they are and in all they do — they are set apart to serve Him.

I believe that the end times, or the last days, as we call it, are seasons of the prophets, and times wherein God will raise the revivalists up to rise in their earthly mission — to burn with His Presence and to Ignite His Fire in the lives of those to whom they shall be sent to go.

Prophets are revivalists, they are sent to carry their Torch of the Spirit and to set alight that which is dead and ready to burn!

They are sent to charge batteries that has gone flat, and to produce a fresh Revelation of the Life of God in His people.

Authentic revivals require authentic revivalists — men who have paid the price to be set apart before God and before His Throne, who walk with the single mission of being burning Torches — Aflame with His Fire!
