Living in a dry and thirsty land
We live in a dry and thirsty land today; no matter where we may physically live on this earth, apart from God it is dry and parched, for only in Christ does the water of life flow freely.
Though we may live in a dry and thirsty land, Christ, the Water of Life, fills our hearts, our minds, and our souls with His love and grace.
That is the reason we are here, and that is the news we must share with those who have no hope.
In doing this we show them love, and like water to a flower, they are refreshed!
“O God, you are my God! I long for you! My soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water,” Psalm 63:1.
