A little Word about Healing:

“… and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you WERE healed,” 1 Peter 2:24.

Peter is quoting from Isaiah 53:5,

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we ARE healed.”

Isaiah saw the coming Messiah who would carry all our sickness and disease on His body at the Cross. And so he wrote, “we are healed.” 700 years later, when Jesus cried out, “It is finished”, the work was accomplished. Hallelujah! When Peter quotes Isaiah 53, he says it in the PAST tense, “By His stripes you WERE healed”.

And so we must keep reminding the devil that our healing has already happened on the Cross. That Jesus Himself bore our pain and sickness for us. And it has NO LEGAL RIGHT to be on our bodies, because JESUS carried it for us.

Many times, we do not see instant results. And so we say, “Well, I must not be healed.” WRONG way to think Beloved!

There is a battle going on in the heavenlies! We have an adversary, the devil. So we fight the good fight of faith. We have an enemy who wants us sick and even dead if possible. We remind him too much of our Daddy! But we just need to KEEP standing and proclaiming the word! Amen!

I tell my body to line up to the Word of God that says I am healed. And that is faith. Your faith can move that mountain in Jesus name!

Jesus always told the people He healed, “Your faith has made you whole.” My family and I have had many healings. And some took a while of standing and declaring the Word. We still have sicknesses and pain that come against us at different times. But we know where it is coming from. It comes from the enemy. He comes but to steal, kill and destroy.

Jesus came to bring us LIFE and life abundantly. Jesus ONLY did what He saw the Father doing. He went about HEALING the sick and ALL who were afflicted by the devil. That is who your Father in heaven is. We can’t have abundant life when we are sick and hurting. Our God is faithful.

He is always looking to show Himself MIGHTY on our behalf! The Blood of the Lamb has made you whole, Child of God. Jesus took the sickness and pain for you on the Cross. I decree over you that By His stripes, you were healed! Amen!

 

Postscript:

There is no generational curse that has power over a born again Blood bought Believer. That’s a lie of the devil. You are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Period. The devil is a liar and the father of it. He has convinced many sincere Christians that he has power over them through a family curse, NO WAY!

We are NEW CREATIONS in CHRIST! OLD THINGS have passed away, behold ALL THINGS have become new! We now carry our Father’s DNA! Hallelujah!

By the Blood of the Lamb, we have been redeemed. Jesus became a curse for us, so that we are now blessed! Amen! Speak the Word and look for your healing, not at the sickness. You watch and see what happens. God doesn’t lie and He is faithful! Amen!
