Like Caleb — Only By A Different Spirit!
Like Caleb, Only by a Different Spirit in Us, Will The LORD Bring Us Into the Land
“But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.” Numbers 14:24.
A stirring POWERFUL warfare song in my native language says:
Warriors, Yes Warriors! Warriors, Yes Warriors!
Hear This Message of Jesus
That ONLY warriors make it home
Only warriors (overcomers) will make it to our Home in Heaven.
No matter what we face, we must be overcomers like JESUS – strong in The LORD and in The POWER of His Might!
As I wrote recently, day by day, moment by moment, we must live by Faith from Faith to Faith in JESUS alone:
Focus
All
Imaginations
Toward
Him
and then
Fasten
All
Imaginations
To
Him.
In other words, look to Him and hold to Him — no matter what is happening. If you look at the troubling turbulence around, taking your eyes off The LORD Jesus, you will start sinking like Peter.
Faith is easy when you focus on Jesus. He: “…See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass…“ (Matthew 24:6).
Do not fret under any circumstances whatsoever. Those who fret, easily fall. And, in these last days, those who fear and fret will be deceived and led astray.
It happened before.
In Numbers 13:2, The LORD commanded Moses saying:
“Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel…”
So Moses sent them; they went up and spied out the land.
“And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants ( the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:25 -28, 30-33.
The people had THE Almighty, ALL-POWERFUL GOD The Creator but feared created things in their way. They feared what they were to easily conquer with GOD (with GOD we are more than conquerors!).
And The LORD REJECTED them!
Apart from Caleb and Joshua, everyone of that generation from 20 years old and above were prevented by The LORD from going into the land to inherit it.
“And The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says The LORD , ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in. But your little ones, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised. But as for you, your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness. And your sons shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years, and bear the brunt of your infidelity, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness. According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My Rejection. I The LORD have spoken this. I will surely do so to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.’ ” Now the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation complain against him by bringing a bad report of the land, those very men who brought the evil report about the land, died by the plague before The LORD. But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive, of the men who went to spy out the land.” Numbers 14:26-38.
As happened with the children of Israel in the wilderness, so it is happening with us the children of GOD right now in the wilderness of life. They faced terrifying circumstances of opposition in their promised land, just as we do in laying hold of ours.
Their promised land was Canaan. Our Promised Land is Heaven.
No giants of troubles, sufferings, situations and circumstances should make us afraid and fearful, for GREATER is JESUS Who is us and with us than any situation we are facing and will face.
Let JESUS alone be your focus and hope.
Like Caleb and Joshua, you must “Only let your conduct be worthy of The Gospel of Christ…stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for The Faith of The Gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries…” (Philippians 1:27-28).
Pray to have a different spirit as was in Caleb and follow The LORD fully.
Ask GOD for boldness as they did in Acts chapter 4, and to give you Wisdom liberally (James 1:5; 1 Corinthians 2:7) as well as The Grace to overcome like JESUS.
Let us daily pursue to sit with The LORD on His Throne as He has said: “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My Throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne.“ (Revelation 3:21).
May you have GREAT power and GREAT Grace, (Acts 4:33).
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.

As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.

YESHUA, NEVER ASKED FOR UP-FRONT PAYMENT FOR HIS MESSAGES, SERMONS OR HEALINGS.
TODAY, PEOPLE OF FAITH MUST WARE THE CONSEQUENCES AND RESULTS OCCURRED.
