“A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the currents and the rivers. Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]! Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory” Psalm 24:1-10 (AMP).

We have always thought that in the beginning of this this chapter it was talking about when we get to heaven but a study of this chapter has caused me to think otherwise. As I was reading this and studying the Hebrew for this chapter I began to see something prophetically that God is doing in His people.

In the beginning of the chapter we find God letting the reader know who the earth belongs to, and then in verse three it asks Psalm 24:3 “Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?” The word mountain הר here is the Hebrew word for promotion . God is asking us… “Who will arise into His promotion?” Then the word for stand קוּם is the Hebrew word for (Decree) (Arise in a hostile sense, to be fixed, be proven, persist, to raise up, rouse, in his holy (apartness, separateness) place?) We are to ascend into a new level of authority as we arise and begin to decree His word in a hostile sense against all sin and everywhere that we see sin and it’s affect in the Earth!

He is saying there is something you can do to get promoted in the Lord and it is not sit and wait till Jesus Comes. Jesus said this in Luke 19:12-13

“… A certain nobleman went into a distant country to obtain for himself a kingdom and then to return. Calling ten of his [own] bond servants, he gave them ten minas [each equal to about one hundred days’ wages or nearly twenty dollars] and said to them, Buy and sell with these while I go and then return.”

So Psalm 24 could read “Who shall ascend into the promotion of the Lord.. And who will busy themselves with or occupy themselves in this Holy Place? Which in Hebrew means (a sacred place ). So who shall ascend into the Promotion of the Lord or who shall busy themselves by occupying this Holy sacred place?

It goes on to say:

“He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully” Psalm 24:4.

Clean hands קיא / נקי means (Innocent in the Hebrew). We are now the Righteousness of Jesus as it says in scripture if we have been born again and as we ask daily for forgiveness as we forgive others and as we walk in love we are walking in God. The word pure here means : clear, Do you have a clear heart and mind free of guilt? Have you asked forgiveness? That is what he is saying here, Just keep yourself free of guilt and condemnation, because as it says in Proverbs 26:2 “A curse without cause can not alight….” So God does not want us to have a reason for the curse to alight upon us. The enemy can only dwell in those places that we give him legal authority in. So as the old song goes “Shut De Do and Keep Out De Debil.” We do this through walking in love and keeping in forgiveness.

“He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation” Psalms 24:5.

This person that does these things shall receive the blessing. This person shall receive the prosperity and the present or prize from the Lord.

But wait! What does it say next?

“This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]!” Psalm 24:6.

This is the Generation of them. Who is them? .. Them that SEEK Him!

The word seek דּרשׁ in the Hebrew in the first seek here is; To tread frequently, question, search), that seek (by the method of Worship and prayer, require, search) thy face, (before time, heaviness (Glory)) O Jacob. Selah! Those that tread the courts of our God frequently, that go to Him in Worship and search Him out and ask questions asking for his guidance and council, seek the heavy weighty Glory or presence of the Lord. This is who shall ascend to the promotion of the Lord.. Woohoo! There are a people who will be seekers of God!

I see young people now that are falling in love with Jesus that do not want religion as we know it!

STOP seeking promotion by trying to climb the hill of success in the Church the worlds way and begin to seek HIM! I see a people that are about to be promoted into a greater authority in the Earth. That are hungry for His presence and for The King himself! These are those who are fed up with religion as we know it, and want to see the church transformed into a house of worship and prayer; that want to make a place to host the presence of God! This is happening among the young right now in many places, but the old are seeking Him too! Many are finding His presence.

I pray that those who are persecuting those that are experiencing His presence will stop and begin to seek Him with all of their heart! Some of you are working to gain favor from the Lord and what He wants is someone to have a love relationship with Him…

Notice that word seek also means before time. We are to seek those things that are already settled in Heaven and believe because it is already done! Then as we said earlier Decree these things from that Holy sacred place and see them come to pass in the earth. Whatever you bind shall have already been bound and whatever you loose should have already been loosed in heaven. In fact the word “Thy Face” פּנה / פּנים means: Forefront. What is out front in Gods timetable, seeing into the future and not His hinder parts as He allowed Moses to see. That was what was past or history. We are the ones who are to seek those things that have not happened yet and Decree a thing so that it might be established! They who frequent that Holy place will see what is ahead of them! Glory to God! This is where He tells you His secrets and you receive revelation for the future, a people that are ahead of their time so to speak. David said you have made us wiser than our teachers. Only in the place frequented is where this revelation will be gleaned so that we can speak it into the earth and see His Kingdom Come and His will be done! Glory to God!

My mother and I were frequenting that place for several months in a Church everyday for hours. I suddenly went into travail and all I could do was cry because I could feel the lostness of a group of family members. While I was feeling this and in travail, my Mother was seeing a vision of a white tornado sitting on five black hooded people’s heads. All at once the Tornado turned them white. Well, that Sunday My Father-in-law, his wife, his cousin, and His wife and my Dad all went to the altar at church and got saved. We saw the future, and began to Decree and God HAD ALREADY PLANNED THIS, BUT SOMEONE HAD TO BIRTH THIS INTO THE EARTH! We had to frequent that Holy sacred place not the building, but that place of intimacy. You can not birth anything until you have intimacy and hear what is in the Lover Of Your Soul’s heart! That is the seed that is suppose to be released into the earth. That is the seed that will be reproduced. The Rhema word that is received and turns the Logos to life in your situation…

“Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in” Psalm 24:7.

Notice it is calling YOU the gates and the doors… the word for gates שׁער in Hebrew is this; to shake; the head. Those that have renewed minds and have shaken off the old mindsets and are looking to what is already settled in heaven! I tell you when you lift up your heads you gates or head shakers You will begin to see God come into your situation, church, city, or state! Have you ever noticed that in many revivals there is a manifestation of head shaking going on? This may be why. We are allowing heaven into the earth through our worship! ”The Lord Inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3) Inhabits means manifests. He begins to come into the place that we frequently tread and a portal is opened up over a place.

We started a Bible Study at Wade and Connie Urban’s a couple of years ago now and as we would worship Him .. The King of Glory started coming in! Gold dust began to show up on people’s faces and hands and Wade received a gold tooth! We saw many signs wonders and miracles. Now when we go in it seems like the presence just falls in that place. There is a portal of His Glory that has been opened up there as we lifted up our heads and as we renewed our minds to truth! We have allowed the King of Glory to come in.. Notice it says KING of Glory not just Glory. The King shows up, and the Glory is a result and in that Glory is where miracles take place!

Ye everlasting doors.. The word everlasting here is: ye everlasting (perpetual, futuristic, forever always continuous,unending future). When we look into His face, the forwardness of Him, it opens up a place that will be eternally open. A place where Angels ascend and descend to do that which Psalm 103 says they will do “Hearken unto the voice of His word” they go forth and do our bidding as we “do what we see Him doing” And resound what we hear Him saying…

The word for door פּתח here is : entering (in), entrance (-ry), gate, opening, place). You see you are the entering place for The King of Glory or the heavy weight of God to come in! It is “Christ In you the hope of Glory” The word for King of Glory here is of kabowd, kaw-bode’, kaw-bode’; weight; splendor or copiousness:–glorious, glory, honour, shall come in.

If we want to see revival and the awakening come to our cities and states and countries. It is we who will allow it either in or not.

“Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle” Psalm 24:8.

“This is the Lord that will come in as we lift our heads and defeat all of our foes in this hour” Psalm 30:1.

“And every passing stroke of the staff of punishment and doom which the Lord lays upon them shall be to the sound of [Israel’s] timbrels and lyres, when in battle He attacks [Assyria] with swinging and menacing arms. And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it” Isaiah 30:32 (AMP).

As they worship in Spirit and truth God will come in with swinging and menacing arms Glory! God loves His Worshipers! He will fight on your behalf as you lift up your heads to Him!!

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting (Perpetual, futuristic, eternal forever) doors; and the King of glory (The king of the kabowd) shall come in” Psalm 24:9 KJV.

“Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory” Psalm 24:10.

The word for hosts צבאה / צבא here is; battle, company, host, service, soldiers, waiting upon, warfare.

There is an army of Angels that are waiting on you to lift up your heads and allow the King of the kabowd into your cities your homes ,your country, your situations. They are waiting on the Lover’s of the King to Worship until the Glory comes and you begin to decree what you see and do what you hear and they will come into that place through the open heaven’s that you have created with your worship and prayer and begin to do your bidding!

He is The King of Glory! Even So Come!
