Life’s Lessons
Life’s lessons will always give us a picture of our hearts!
Let’s take a look at how important it is to not allow an emotional response to harden our hearts.
God’s hidden purpose in each act of betrayal is for Victory on both sides. Remember I said a few days ago that embedded somewhere in any act of betrayal is the purpose of The LORD waiting to be discovered.. and for me, beloved, it always brings that enlightening question.. “Father, what are you after in my heart?”
Help me LORD to guard my heart and see your hand!
The word ‘traitor’ or ‘betrayer’ carries a negative connotation but let’s stop and analyze truth. No one would betray if they knew their own heart and the hidden motives that instigated the break in trust.
A traitor or betrayer is someone who betrays a trust. Betrayal will reposition you into a dark place but true repentance will bring you out.
And for the betrayed one, darkness will lead you into a place that you want punishment for the betrayer…. don’t go there!
The enemy has set you up and lured you by your emotions into hardening your heart. A hard heart is the resting place for unforgiveness.
First, when we find ourselves wrestling with unforgiveness and revenge and woundedness. We must lay down our feelings and as an act of obedience, allow our heart to be willing.
As an act of your will, forgive…. the willing obedience gives us the forgiveness key that opens the door for The LORD to restore and bring healing to the wronged and the wrongdoer.
Then we must walk in that Calvary Love all the way to the cross, speaking to ourselves and The LORD the very words of Jesus…. “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.
So I say, KEEP your HEART with ALL diligence for out of it are ALL the issues of life.
Look at this picture above — and remember the heart holds the key to all the issues of life.
