Liar, Liar, Tongue on Fire!
When we say we have no sin we lie to ourselves. Today I want to ask you dear people, why do we lie as Christians?
This sin may not be easily noticed. It can be concealed within other dirty messes. We can easily walk away with lies in the eyes of men, but that is not the case with God.
It is the strong man who keep watch over the gates of our tongues, and allows the rottenness to eat us from the very depth of our heart. We can not endure in lies, every hidden thing shall be exposed.
But why do we lie on the phone? When the phone rings and we open our mouth, we begin to lie, because the other person is not seeing you. In Kenya, this is very common. People do not always say where they are. They lie because they are late in attending meetings.
Well meaning brothers and sisters have formed habits of hiding their religious characters. They even say, “I am praying with you for your condition,” but that is a lie. Actually, some of them will not pray.
“I am praying for you,” has become a wonderful lie, hasn’t it it?
In the office, we walk away with lies simply because we do not want to be accountable. Christians sweeten lies to set them free, but God says it is the truth that sets free, John 8:32.
In every gathering, lies must flow. Even men of God tend to succumb to lies, and some will accept false testimonies. It’s like saying, when lie favors me and what I do, I will embrace it.
A prophet’s call hinges on the ability to handle and speak the truth in life’s normal circumstances. When we lie today and expect to serve God in future, we are simply molding ourselves to be a false prophet.
God does not answer some prayers because they come from lying lips. How is it that we want to spend the all day using our tongue to lie, and then expect to use our already defiled tongue, to call on God overnight?
We lie in marriage life, but want to be embraced to the ultimate, heavenly wedding of the Lamb, in Revelations 19:5-6.
Our tongues have become feeble. With our tongues we have blessed lies. The tongue is diseased. Now it won’t be able to curse diseases and it won’t be able command the mountains out of the way and into the sea.
You had better repent for having lied! A Christian becomes powerless vessel when she/ he operate in falsehood.
Some have lied to their children and spouses. Today, repent and demolish the foundations of deceptions. Let us have some returning to God right away because of this rottenness!
Shalom,

Hello Peter;
Yes, it is important for every believer to understand that in God’s Kingdom there is only true or false and nothing such as, “a harmless or trivial “white” lie, especially one told to avoid hurting someone’s feelings,” which in itself is a lie because the reason one will avoid to “hurt others feelings” origins in that oneself does not want to have any problem from their reaction, so telling lies is always selfish in some way.
One should rather lose the income and job than tell a lie (I have done it and God still blesses me greatly, because when we are faithful to obey, He is faithful to bless).
“all the (no matter the circumstances)liars, their part is in the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone,” Revelation 21:8.
