Letter To Those Called To Mountain Of Business
Here on the mountain (Lake Tahoe), Light is shinning into my heart through the Book of Ezra — it’s ten chapters highlight God’s favor upon a people (who are in His specific purpose), yet also highlights opposition forces to such an assignment.
In the end we win for His Glory, but must endure with love and faith in our hearts. My prayer this day is each of us ‘see the light of His purpose’ in what we are doing (serving, not selling).
When the priority is money, God will withhold His hand. When the priority is serving (His purpose), all provision is made.
For me, as a former businessman, I must humble myself (before the LORD) continuously that I have a servant’s heart, not a seller’s heart.
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, never will I leave or forsake you,” Hebrews 13:5.
Kingdom Principle #1
Give up ownership and gain access. The wealth of the Kingdom is common. The Kingdom of God is a commonwealth. The powerful spirit of poverty, lack, suspicion, war, violence, paranoia, etc., stems from OWNERSHIP…
The most powerful source of peace, joy, and love is ACCESS. All the King owns belongs to us, IF all we own belongs to Him.
The powerful force of ‘self preservation’ causes us to seek economies that give us the greatest way to SELF PRESERVE, believing that money is the answer to everything.
“Be not like the pagan and CHASE money,” (Matthew 6:32).
A needy man can chase money just like a greedy man. The word makes no distinguishing difference.
Our job is to hear and obey, trusting our God to point us to His provision – killing your self is not His Way, and reveals our path of self preservation. Work smart, not hard, (Genesis 3:17).
The most intelligent genius cannot out-think the Holy Spirit, who IS your teacher and guide. The Kingdom is the greatest economy the earth has ever seen, not built on pursuing money, but rather pursuing access.
Ownership is the source of poverty – when you are free of it, giving is easy. There is no property hoarding in the Kingdom of God. Set your focus back on God.
Let the Kingdom become your source and supply for the remainder of your life, and watch what our God will do – He wants greatly to bless His people “who are called according to His purpose,” but, in His great mercy, will not IF HE IS NOT THE LORD OF OUR PROVISION – ask me how I know!
The Seismic Shift
Recently I heard a sudden thud, and the earth shook as if a giant meteor had hit.
I looked up, and before me was a gate, an open gate leading into the most beautiful rolling green pasture and beautiful mountain stream.
I was told to walk through the gate and take possession of this spectacular land – my dwelling place forever. This sudden shift was symbolic a sudden transition from life as we know it, into a new dimension of life on earth as it is in heaven.
I sense and feel this seismic shift, as the physical realm (the groaning creation) is brought into conformity to this time, specifically set by the Father to reveal Himself and His sons to His Body.
Then I heard,
“Be strong, all of you people of the land, declares the Lord, AND WORK. For I AM with you, declares the Lord Almighty.
This is what I Covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and My Spirit remains among you.
Do not fear. This is what the LORD Almighty says: In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with Glory, says the LORD Almighty.
The silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the LORD Almighty.
The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the LORD Almighty. And in this place I will grant peace, declares the LORD Almighty,” (Haggai 2:4-9).
