Rest in The Storm

Good Morning.

The subtitle for this article can be “Rest in The Storm.”

Are you wondering what to do about this, what to do about that in these troublesome times? Here are a couple songs below and a few scriptures.

I must confess, I have at times been reading others articles on HKP, but passed by the ‘songs’, for what I thought was my lack of time.

Oh, what I might have missed! So I do try now to always take time, so to speak, to smell the roses and listen.

If you will, now soak in these songs and refresh with these scriptures and let’s look above all our circumstances to our King of Kings and LORD of Lords!

Here are just a few scriptures:

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalm 34:8.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I AM meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My Yoke is easy, and My Burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

“And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me.” Psalm 50:15.

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” Psalm 42:11.
