Let’s Not Make Excuses!
Don’t ask me to help you, if you don’t want to hear my “get a job or business to create your own income” speech!
Lately I have had to many able-bodied people looking for help, but not wanting to know how they can stop being an unemployed and unproductive status in the earth.
My job as a leader, is to teach the people also how to obtain wealth and how to create income for their lives. So many want handouts, but don’t really want advice that can help them be self-sufficient, or even a successful business owner.
I always ask them, “If I help you today, will this start you on a road to financial recovery and freedom, or will it cause you to become dependent upon others to be your source of provision” Or will you have to do this same thing everyday, asking people for help?”
There is a problem taking place now in the Body of Christ, where people don’t have the drive to obtain their own personal success, but are waiting on others to sow, or take care of them.
This is not a characteristic of a person who wants wealth, or to be a Kingdom citizen of God.
They are workers, go-getters, who never take no for an answer, who won’t allow setbacks to be called failures, but opportunities to learn grow and increase persons.
When you are a child of God, you should automatically have a desire to get wealth, because God gives us the power for it. We are not to look to people as our source, but always God.
There are financial principles throughout the Word to help us to achieve financial freedom and several scriptures concerning being lazy and unproductive.
We can’t get attitudes, or go off on people, because they don’t want to become your money god, where instead of you trying to obtain your own income, you are expecting to live off theirs.
Remember, people give, because the LORD says so, or because they want to just bless somebody. Throwing temper tantrums, making nasty media posts and threatening people is not the way to be blessed.
And besides, God speaks sometimes and tells everyone not to sow and not to help, because He is teaching a lesson, or He has released a judgment.
Know that just because somebody doesn’t give to you, don’t mean they are trying to hurt you. Sometimes God says don’t, because He wants to get the Glory out of the situation!
And I do know that there are persons with disabilities who can’t work, but there are jobs which you can do, or businesses which you can run through the internet, that don’t require anything but your fingers to work.
People, let’s not make excuses as to why we can’t, and start looking at why we can.
They are trying to eliminate governmental assistance that once helped the people. This is why God is now being so urgent about teaching His people principles of sowing, reaping, giving offerings, seed-time and harvest time.
People, you can’t expect fruit when you have never planted!
For those who have Pastors and you are members of a Church and that’s where you sow and are fed, please go to your leader first, before approaching others.
The detective in me is always on the alert and i certainly will be wondering why you say you sow your tithes, give offerings and plant seeds in your ministry, but yet you are looking for other ministries to help you in your time of need.
Why go to any ministry that won’t even pray for you in your time of need? If you have to have another leader to help you, or they feel your burden but your covering doesn’t, perhaps you are under the wrong person?
Sometimes though, you have asked the Church so much, until they just refuse to let you stay in a crippled state.
It’s a new season and you have not only to have faith, but also but works, as things begin to come to pass!
