Let’s Be Careful Little Ones — Part 2

It was not my intention at the first, but now I do wish to add a Part 2.
Here is the main excerpt of this short article.
“This is something The Holy Spirit spoke to me this morning as I was seeking God about some things: “Pick your battles carefully this day My child, for there is a trap set before thee.”“
It got me to thinking how that is true for each one of us!!
Just know the devil is cunning and wily yet The Word of God speaks to us:
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16

Continuing on now…
Good morning.
The LORD does warn us a lot in His Word about traps.
We must stay on our guard constantly not to get into these traps.
‘Picking our battles‘ carefully is most important!
The key is in obedience.
Much warfare we fight might not be our particular assignment that day.
There are battles we don’t need to get into!
We can bring much heartache on our ownselves by not discerning properly.
Sometimes it is about our own self will and wanting our own way.
If the Holy Spirit prompts us to leave something alone, we need to always do just that.
Know this scripture is still true:
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.” Proverbs 15:1-2
People often times are used of the enemy, to try to bring pain to us. Many times they are not even aware they are doing so.
“Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.” Jeremiah 9:8
“The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.” Psalm 119:110
“The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.” Proverbs 12:13
We need to be sure we are in the right place at the right time!
Now let’s look a little further in the New Testament.
We all know the enemy constantly tried to trap Jesus but He wouldn’t allow it!
“And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.” Mark 12:13
Jesus spoke the Words of Life constantly as He is all truth and light!
He never answered the questions that were aimed to trap Him.
He often turned it around with His own question. The LORD knows the heart and the very intent of the heart of all mankind.
Jesus even warned in one place:
“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” Matthew 24:43
Physically but also spiritually we need to guard our houses and our own temples.
If you do open this link you will see a child’s song here that I felt led to share before.
In conclusion our Father up above is still looking down in love.
- We need to be careful of our eyes, what we see.
- We need to be careful of our ears what we hear.
- We need to be careful of our mouth what we speak.
- We need to be careful of our hands, what we do.
- We need to be careful of our feet where we go.

THANKS JOYCE, I HAD TO RESIST GETTING INTO A FIGHT BECAUSE THE LORD WARNED ME BEFOREHAND..
IPRAISE THE I AM.
Glad Alex that the article helped and spoke to you! Thanks for letting me know. Yes, the Lord always sends us warnings in some form. God bless you.
Allright!
Isaiah35:3 WEB

and make the feeble knees firm.
YES.AMEN.
God bless you Wong.
That is sure a trick of the enemy to get any of us into strife. Thank you for coming by and sharing this. Glad if it helped.
I’m praying for you and your husband rsg, to be able to sit down and talk together. When we can talk and be heard without attacking the other one then something can usually be worked out. Hugs ❤️
Thank you! That is very kind of you! We will be fine. There was only one time any of our skirmishes lasted longer than a day and that was many years ago. In general we are peaceful and happy. We read through the bible in a year nearly every night. We have survived infertility and the care and death of my dementia afflicted mother, the deaths of both of his parents and a major move across the country. Daily we learn more and more from the Lord. It is inevitable that attacks will come, but we overcome by the power of His might!
Thank you! I have noticed the enemy has been trying to get me and my husband to fight. We have resisted, but this reminder is still very helpful.
