WISDOM vs. FOOLS

The Holy Ghost said that many of you don’t have the sense of an ant! He said the reason you don’t have the sense of the ant is because you don’t have a plan for your life!

You are living from day-to-day with no goals, building a foundation that has no structure on it.

You see, the ant is symbolic for being small, diligent, and wise. Many of you, God is trying to give you a new start and a new beginning in life and your eyes have been put out by the devil!

For, I hear the Holy Ghost saying, “For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad (many of you are not glad because your eyes are dull of seeing because of sin! Ask God to open them so you can see his plan for your life!) when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel – these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth,” (Zechariah 4:10)

The LORD is speaking and He wants to not only bless you, but to give you an expected end, but without wisdom you are doomed to failure. For, the fool is always at a loss, because he lacks wisdom and understanding. And not only does he lack wisdom, but he is prone to moving on impulse instead of thinking things out!

Many of you are going to end up in the low places in life all because you failed to acknowledge God. The Bible says that if any man lack wisdom, ask God who gives it liberally!

For, it is time to go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, who provides her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? (Proverbs 6:7-9).

Many are sleeping in dangerous times! You see, the ants are people, not strong yet they have sense enough to prepare their meat in the summer! (Proverbs 30:25).

Come on somebody! Many of you say you want a wife/ husband but you have not even taken the time to prepare your credit, get a house for your wife and children, you have no job, and you lack wisdom. All because you are taking it one day at a time!

Well, tomorrow is not promised to you! The Bible tells us to be like the ant, and to work while it is day, because the night comes and no man can work.

I’m afraid that your night is here. And, when you get sick and old then you want to prepare! Well, you have used up all your goods and now you don’t have nothing to offer a family!

Let us reason together, says The LORD

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it,” (Isaiah 1:18-20).

This morning the LORD spoke to me about the word, “bargain.” Bargain is an agreement between two or more parties as to what each party will do for the other in order to settle a dispute among the parties.

The LORD has a controversy with his people this morning. Many folk have just about run out of grace with the LORD and He has been dealing with them a long time regarding the condition of their souls, and the sad thing is that when they get in trouble they are like Jonah in the belly of the whale.

They begin to make all kinds of promises to God all because they are in trouble; not thinking about the (consequences) promises they have made or sacrifices they have promised to do if God will do this or do that to get them out of the trouble they are in or have brought upon themselves.

But, how many know that the scriptures say, “When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for he takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?” (Ecclesiastes 5:4-6).

You see, the prophet Isaiah saw in a vision that the LORD had a controversy with his people because they had forsaken him. He said that from the soles of the foot even unto the head there was no soundness in it, (meaning everybody was doing their own thing) and the wounds and the sores had not been closed.

Not because their was not cure, but because they refused to receive him as their savior! And, although the land was desolate, the strangers had devoured the land in their presence, and the city was in ruin the people still refused to look up and to live because they loved sin more than they did the master.

My God, my God! In fact they had forgotten all about the things that God had done for them. They had become evil children, a seed of evil doers laden with iniquity and had provoked the LORD with their sins. And instead of them going forward they continued to go backward instead. These evil children not only went backward but they begin to think that they could fool and to deceive God by offering him sacrifices, and burnt offerings in place of true repentance.

But, the father was not having it. He let them know quickly you can’t fool me, and neither can you trick me in taking a bribe to accept a substitute for your wicked ways! In fact,

God told them, “”When you come to appear before me, (in his presence) who requires of you this trampling of my courts? “Bring your worthless offerings no longer, incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath, the calling of assemblies – (many are gathering in his presence with conferences, church, events, programs and God is not pleased!) I cannot endure iniquity and the solemn assembly. ”

I hate your new moon festivals and your appointed feasts, they have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them so when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you; yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from my sight. Cease to do evil,” (Isaiah 1:12-16).

The LORD is speaking this morning and it is time to stop playing church, making the LORD promises that many of you know in your hearts that you have no intention of keeping in this hour.

And, not only is the people of God making these promises, but many of our children and our children’s children. For, I hear the LORD saying that the nation as a whole is in trouble and or has gotten in trouble and many times we as a people pray asking God for help and he keeps his promises but as soon as we get out of trouble we go right back to the vomit; like a pig when he plays in the mud in the pig pen.

For I hear the LORD saying that if, after they have escaped the pollution of this world through the knowledge of the LORD and savior, Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and have been overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:20-22 NKJ)

God is not a toy and He is nothing to play with people of God, and he will not be taken advantage of while we continue to wallow in the mire. For, many have betrayed the innocent blood, making him promises and sacrifices all to go back down into Egypt and to continue in sin! God forbid that sin should abound!

Come back to God while there is still time; the call is being made!
