Let Us Love/ Agape One Another
For Love/ Agape is of God (1 John 4:7) and God pours His Love/ Agape into our hearts by His Spirit (Romans 5:5).
Paul commended the Thessalonians for their love for one another and their ever growing faith in spite of the persecution they endured.
He holds them up as an example churches are to follow, in order to be considered worthy of God’s Kingdom.
Reading his inspired word stirs us up in our spirit, strengthens our Faith/ pistis, Hope/ elpis and Love/ agapē, and helps us set the enlightened eyes of our hearts on heavenly things.
“This is a positive proof of the righteous judgment of God [a sign of His fair verdict], so that you will be considered worthy of His kingdom, for which indeed you are suffering . For after all it is onlyjust for God to repay with distress those who distress you, and to give relief to you who are so distressed and to us as well when The LORD Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in a flame of fire, dealing out [full and complete] vengeance to those who do not [seek to] know God and to those who ignore and refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus [by choosing not to respond to Him]. These people will pay the penalty and endure the punishment of everlasting destruction, banished from the presence of The LORD and from the glory of His power, when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day [that is, glorified through the changed lives of those who have accepted Him as Savior and have been set apart for His purpose], and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed and trusted [and confirmed in your lives].” 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10 AMP
Paul concludes with this sealing prayer:
“It is with this view also that we continually pray to our God for you, asking that He will count you worthy of His call, and by His mighty power fully gratify your every desire for what is truly good and make your work of faith complete;in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and that you may be glorified in Him — so wonderful is the grace of our God and of The LORD Jesus Christ! 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 WNT
Supporting Scripture:
“Beloved, let us Love one another, for Love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7.
“Now Hope does not disappoint, because The Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by The Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5.

Shalom and agape James, thanks for your comment. Yes, we need enough love and trust in those we fellowship with to confess our faults to one another and be forgiven.
This reminds me of the famous quote “Its not that we dont love God, its that we dont love each other. Its not that we dont repent to God, but dont repent to each other, therefore leaving a trail of pain and damaged relationships. Matt 5:23
