Let Us Get This One Thing Straight!
I hear the cry against God that is saying he sends people to hell fire, and not only that he kills sinners.
Those saying it, put all the blame upon God, saying He is the one doing it all and that He is evil for judging men!
Is it true that God is a very evil God and sends people to Hell Fire, just because He is God and He can?
What do you say?
Is God guilty of killing people at random, just because He can, and just because they will not agree with Him?
Let us get the straight of this answer [at least — make a good start to clear up the Blame Game levied against God]
There are very good answers found only in The Word of God. That is right… Found in The Word of God….
Oh I know… many do not even believe in The Word of God as trustworthy to solve the problem or answer the Question.
The world of men hate the fact that there are answers found in The Word. They hate that The Word, because they do not want to hear The Word of God!
So here goes.. .My first and best answer to the above question about God and why men go to hell.
Who is at fault?
The Bible fact is that God did not ….. create men to be sinners.
In the beginning, the Bible says in Genesis that God made men in His Image and placed them in a perfect environment that did not include sin.
The first men [Adam and Eve] were created innocent and without even the knowledge of sin.
God did create them without sin. In doing so, he did give them the very best start of all — a perfect relationship with himself — and we must know that The Bible declares of God Himself, that there is no sin at all in Him.
As a matter of Bible Fact, God cannot sin, and in God there is not even a shadow of sin.
When the bright light that reveals all hidden sins shine upon God himself, there is no shadow of even turning…. In other words, God has no sins hiding in His life.
Listen to this verse:
“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15.
The Word says God is Holy. He is the High and Lofty One, and He lives in a holy place.
When The Bible says God created Adam in His Own Image, he created him Holy. To say that God made a sinner would be like a slap in the face of the Holy God.
God did not create sin, or sinners, but he created a Man like himself, Holy, then placed him in a holy place [the Garden of Eden}.
We are given this fact: God and Adam walked together and had perfect fellowship. See: Genesis 3:8,
“And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.”
It is evident from this Scripture that God came in the early morning and walked with Adam and Eve and they did fellowship together.
If Adam was anything but Holy, that Fellowship would be broken and God who is Holy couldn’t walk with Adam because God was Holy, [completely without sin or any shadow of turning of sin].
It follows that God made Adam a creation without any sin, so He could fellowship with him. The light of holiness was not hindered in any way or tainted by any sin so the two could walk together unhindered.
Now see a New Testament Verse that talks about fellowship:
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another” 1 John 1:5-7.
Notice that fellowship is in the “Light where there is no darkness at all”.
Adam and even walked in the Light with The God of Light, and in that place where they walked there was perfect fellowship.
Now, I must hurry to say this:
Had God created a sinful man or woman, He could not have fellowship with them; sin would have come between the Light and there would have been darkness. [Grey areas of where the light did not shine completely].
So, first of all. Men must know God did not make men to sin, or to be sinners. So, If God did not make His first men sinners, then God is not responsible for them sinning.
Who is responsible for sin in the Genesis Account?
Answer : The old serpent the devil, who did come into the perfect garden to temp Eve to sin! And, again it was Eve who did disobey God’s Commands to not eat of a certain tree in the garden, that did sin.
The LORD came as usual in the cool of the morning to talk to his created men and found them in a sinful state, and that state was because of disobedience to God’s Command. [Which he forbid them to eat of The Tree of Knowledge Good and Evil.]
Well. The Bible fact is this — The devil [that old serpent, the devil] was loose running about already when God created Adam and Eve and put them into The Garden.
Why was the devil a sinner? [The Bible says sometime before The Garden, the created beautiful Angel of God who later did sin, and was cast out of heaven into the air to walk to and fro in the earth.
It was the devil that first sinned.
God did have to cast out the devil [who sinned] from out of heaven. So, the devil is to blame for sin!
Men need to study the scriptures to see that God is no sinner, nor does He sin.
Men need to study where sin started and with whom.
Men need to understand that God Who is Holy did command or warn Adam and Eve about the devil who was running around sinfully tempting others to sin.
Men need to place the blame upon the one who it belongs then, and stop blaming god for sin.
Matter fact The Bible says God cannot sin. See it here:
“…… therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.” 1 John 3:1b-5.
Then why does God have a place for the wicked sinful devil to go for all eternity?
Why does The Bible say sinful men will be cast into the same Hell Fire where the devil will be cast?
See: Revelation 20:10-15.
The answer then, is because of the devil and sin.
The Holy God cannot allow sin to come into His Presence. He must give them a place to go for all eternity.
* * * * * * *
I have given this teaching to enlighten men as to why God must judge sin away from His Presence.
He did not cause men to sin, and He did not create sin, so He is not guilty of any sin Himself.

What??? Is hell a type of Mister Rogers neighborhood, where there is laughter, smiles, joyful sounds, I think not. The devil knows all about hell and will soon find out about the lake of fire, all those who rejected Jesus Christ, all unbelieving, liars, whoremongers, abominable, murderers, sorcerers, those practicing witchcraft, all these will join the devil in the lake of fire.
God does not lie, whether some disbelieve or not, His Word is final, for Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. The devil desires the company of many, so because Jesus says he is the father of lies, he will try to distort God’s Truth in his Word, to deceive many as deceived Adam and Eve, many others in the Bible.️
Mark, what about the story Jesus told in Matthew 16:19 about the rich man and Lazarus. Was the rich man in purgatory? If so, where is there more about that in the Bible and I wouldn’t want to spend time there either, but I guess it would be better than eternity.
Perhaps one of the reasons satan has been able to use this to great effect is because the Church has promoted a false teaching regarding hell and that is that hell is a place of eternal torture. It isn’t. John 3:16 among many other scriptures shows that man apart from Jesus does not have eternal life. Apart from Jesus the souls future is a second death. Again and again in scripture GOD warns of a second death. For example, and I am paraphrasing, GOD says to not fear man who can only kill the body but rather fear GOD who can kill body and soul. The Church has promoted a false teaching about hell probably as a scare tactic to try to get people to repent, falsely believing that this approach actually works thus ignoring more scripture that says that it is GOD’s love that draws us to repentance. Perhaps the Church is the one who should take the blame for this?
