Let Us Build a Tower!
“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth,” Genesis 11:4-9.
“For as much as I came into this world to seek and save the lost, I have come that man would know Me.
For even though you don’t ‘see me’ I AM the great I AM. From time immemorial, I have ever been.
I planned to create a world where man could live and tend the garden in the beginning. But he fell, and ever since that time he has been toiling in the dust.
And now after many millennia, the birth pangs have increased to such an extent, that the upheavals have disrupted and marred my creation. But this world is not your own.
For at a future point and time, I will create new heavens and a new earth. You will look back and the sorrows and the loss of the things that have come from a fallen world, will have been forgotten.
In this world you will face tribulation. It comes in many forms and ways. It has come because this world is decaying.
That is why you see so much turmoil around you. That is why the mountains quake. That is why the seas will rise.
But you see, that also this decay has been ever-growing in the hearts of man. For as it has been said, ‘The heart is deceitful above all measure, who can know it?’
But I have given man the ability to know Me. I have given him the way to approach My throne.
But many would rather create their own garden. Many would rather create their own kingdoms.
In their pride and arrogance they would build their kingdoms according to their own plans.
In the distant past a great tower was built. It reached to the skies. The king thought in his heart that he could do whatever he wished to do. And then that great tower fell. The people were dispersed and their languages were confounded.
And now man is attempting to build his own kingdom. There is a tower that is built; and it stands in the great city by the sea.
I tell you that on that day, it will surely fall! It will come crashing down, and the sounds of that fall will be heard from miles around.
For when man says in his heart, ‘I will build this tower in honor of my own achievements, then surely it will fall to the ground.’
Be careful what you build, oh man.”
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9.

Hear the word of the Lord. Thank you my brother.
