Let Us Acknowledge The LORD
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Let Us Acknowledge The LORD
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him.
As surely as the sun rises
He will appear
He will come to us like the winter rains,
Like the spring rains that
Water the earth.
He is faithful to watch over His Word
So abundant are the rains
That the threshing floors will be
Filled with grain;
The vats will overflow with
New wine and oil
Oh His People who are called by His Name
He will repay them for the years
The locusts have eaten….
They will have plenty to eat,
Until they are full
And they will praise the name
Of The LORD their God,
Who has worked wonders for them
Never again will His people be shamed.
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him,
Proclaim this among the nations:
For the day will come
Where multitudes upon multitudes
Will assemble in the valley of decision
All nations will swiftly come
Preparing for war
Plowshares will be beaten into swords
Pruning hooks into spears
All fighting men will draw near and attack
Oh LORD you will bring down Your Warriors
And judge all the nations there
Swing the sickle,
For the harvest is ripe
Come trample the grapes,
For the wine press is full
And the vats overflow —-
So great is their wickedness!
The sun and moon will be darkened,
And the stars no longer shine.
The LORD will roar from Zion
And thunder from Jerusalem;
The earth and the heavens will tremble
But The LORD will be a refuge for His People,
A stronghold for the people of Israel.
Oh His People who are called by His Name
He will repay them for the years
The locusts have eaten….
They will have plenty to eat,
Until they are full
And they will praise the name
Of The LORD their God,
Who has worked wonders for them
Never again will His people be shamed
He saved them from the clutches of the enemy
His Blessings ring out forever true:
“Then you will know that I,
The LORD your God,
dwell in Zion, My Holy Hill
Jerusalem will be Holy;
Never again will foreigners invade her.
In that day, the mountains
Will drip new wine
And the hills will flow with milk;
The ravines of Judah will run with water.
A fountain will flow out of The LORD’s House
And will water the valley of acacias.”
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him.
To make Him our everything
So that we can be counted worthy
So that we can escape His Wrath
So that our name is written in the Book of the Lamb
So that we receive His wonderful Blessings
And not an empty wasteland
Rend your heart, not your garments
Return to Him with all your heart
With fasting, weeping, and mourning
With a penitent heart
Oh let us press on to know Him!
Oh His People who are called by His Name
He will repay them for the years
The locusts have eaten….
They will have plenty to eat,
Until they are full
And they will praise the name
Of The LORD their God,
Who has worked wonders for them
Never again will His people be shamed
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him.
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him.
To make Him our everything
To be His People who are called by His Name!
Let us acknowledge The LORD;
Let us press on to know Him.
To make Him our everything
To be His People who are called by His Name!
“Yet even now,” declares The LORD, “return to me with all your heart! with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to The LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.” Joel 2:12-13
“The threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of The LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am The LORD your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame.” Joel 2:24-27
“Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the fighting men draw near and attack. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, “I am strong!” Come quickly, all you nations from every side, and assemble there. Bring down your warriors, Lord! “Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side. Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow—so great is their wickedness!” Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of The LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine. The LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But The LORD will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. “Then you will know that I, The LORD your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her. “In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of The LORD’s house and will water the valley of acacias.” Joel 3:9–18
“Let us acknowledge The LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:3
“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.” Hosea 6:6
“Because he loves me,” says The LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Psalm 91:14
~ by Gabrielle Fuehrer
Gabrielle Fuehrer came to The LORD in Spring 2020 and soon began receiving inspiration from The Holy Spirit in the form of Poems (Psalms), meant to praise, glorify and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and uplift the Body of Christ. A preschool teacher, surrounded by the blessings and love of the little ones she teaches, Gabrielle also runs the website, “Imagine a Love Like That“.
“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Amen!
Absolutely wonderful, Gabrielle. I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much sister.
Dear Joyce to our LORD all the glory belongs. ❣️ His Spirit is moving mightily right now! Many blessings to you and grace and peace from God our Father and The LORD Christ Jesus!
