Due to hurricane Sandy I was left without electricity for fifteen days and was staying with family members. It was nothing less than a miracle that I didn’t have any floods whatsoever at my house as ocean water and raw sewage flooded many homes and businesses. What a blessing it was when the men from the electric company arrived and turned the power back on with just the push of one switch. I asked them if I would have to light a pilot light or if the heat and hot water would go on automatically. They replied, yes when we push this switch, everything will instantly be restored.

The Lord says, just as I am the light of the world, I have also called you to be the light of the world. Rise up and let your light flood the darkness that is trying to invade the earth. Become a guide to those who are in dense darkness. Become a light to the spiritually blind. Rise up to take dominion over the powers, principalities, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. You have been called for such a time as this. Don’t be pulled into the vortex of fear that the enemy is trying to pull so many in to. Take your stand against everything that is contrary to My word and that which is opposed to what you believe.

Just as a lamp must be plugged into the outlet to be energized you must also stay connected to Me. My Word is light. As you follow My Word, My word will be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path to lead and guide you. Don’t follow those who can not see. Don’t be as the blind leading the blind. You can’t be led by someone who has no vision, neither could you have double vision. As you are sensing a shift in the spiritual climate, don’t allow the things of this world to infiltrate your spiritual vision. Guard your eyes. Take heed to what you see so that the light in you will not become darkness says the Lord.

Psalm 119:130 “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 6:22-23 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

John 8:12 “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’“
