Let God Be God in Your Life!

Let God Be God in Your Life!
Sometimes for God to take you where He wants you, He has to break you away from what you know or familiar to you and what you are comfortable with.
If He does not shake you from what is familiar to you, you will lack the faith to trust Him in times when it is most needed.
A lack of faith in God will disqualify you of what He wants to do in and through you, where He wants to take you.
This will slow and hinder the speed and velocity He desires and wants to move in your life.
If God is going to trust and use you, He wants to ensure that there is absolutely nothing or no one in your life who you will gravitate to or depend on more than you do Him.
In the midst of this, sometimes you may look around you and it seems as if your whole world is falling apart or being turned upside down or you feel so lost or it feels like everything and everyone is leaving you.
The truth is, this may in fact be happening, but the point of this shaking and breaking is because He is elevating and shifting you.
Until you learn to totally and completely depend on God, you are not ready for what He wants to do in you, through you, and you are not ready for where He wants to take you.
Sometimes you have to be comfortable with saying, “Okay God, I just do not know,” or “I really have no clue of how I am going to get there but I know you will get me there.”
It is a matter of being so grown, mature and developed in your relationship with God that you realize that absolutely nothing or no one else has the ability or the means of doing and being to you what only He can.
When God has a great destiny on your life, it will not always be easy, not when He has plans to use you.
Let God be God in your life and refuse the need to try to do what only He can do.
Do not rush or run before Him lest you find yourself going around the same mountain or walking out what you already walked out.
Yield!
Be Thankful for the Down Time!
Sometimes God has to take you down before He takes you up, because some of the things you are able to see when you are “down”, you will not always be able to see when you are “up”.
Sometimes the wisest thing you can ask God in your “down” times or seasons is not to take you up but to simply “show or reveal to you”.
It is then and only then you will see clearly what you were previously unable to see before.
It is then that you begin to see what others might have fallen prey to and guess what, what is shown to you is not second hand information, you see it with your very own eyes too.
When you allow God to take you down you will not fall prey to the enemy, you will not fall in traps or things those who may be “up” fell in or were never able to see.
Sometimes He reveals to you and allows you to see because it is part of your calling and He wants to use you in that very area.
As God’s anointed, your prayer should never be for him to get you there (whatever or where ever your “there” is) fast but that He helps you to develop the character and integrity that will help you last.
You see, if you get there fast but you lack the character and the integrity, you will never be able to last because it is your integrity and your character that qualifies you to walk and operate at the level and dimension He want you to go.
Be thankful for the “down time” and the pace at which God chooses to move in your life, it will all make sense in the end.
Do Not Be Limited and Constrained
I can be in a room or an environment with a group of individuals speaking on a particular subject and my mind not think about the particular subject or on what is currently happening in the environment.
It is about not being led by or moved by external forces or what goes on around you but being consumed by God and what He desires to share with you.
Do not allow yourself to be confined by what happens around you or what you see, hear, or feel in the natural that you cannot move in the spiritual.
I think it was either Apostle Paul or John who was confined physically yet moved spiritually.
Flowing in the prophetic allows you the opportunity of being in the room but out of the room, it reveals to you mysteries, revelations, and causes you to see ahead of time.
Do not be limited and constrained by what is happening around you that you never allow God to speak in and to you.
Pay Attention to the Background Too!
Advice to myself, preachers and those in ministry.
Sometimes you can have the most anointed and real messages and quotes, but if the backdrop or picture of the background is preaching something totally opposite, this completely takes away from the message or throws off what you are trying to say or what is being said.
Pay attention not only to the messages or quotes, but also pay attention to what is being depicted or shown in the background or backdrop of the message.
