Let Everyone That Bows on His Knees Go Home!
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He began to speak to me regarding the fearful and the unbelieving, and how that fear paralyzes one to not move in the things of God; as well as obeying God.
And not only does it paralyzes one, but it stops the flow of The Holy Spirit, because without faith it is impossible to please God!
Gideon was one that was constantly stopping to inquire of God for a sign that God was indeed speaking to him!
His insecurities stifled him in many ways! God had to prove to him over and over again that he was speaking to him, and God also had to use his father (Joash) to stand up for him when he tore down those altars of Baal when the people wanted to kill him.
The LORD used Gideon (and Joash) to speak with such wisdom at that time and he said,
“Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one hath cast down his altar,” Judges 6:31.
The Apostolic anointing was so great at that time, because God knew that Gideon was weak, insecure and fragile that God even used his father to help Gideon out!
Gideon was a mighty man of valor, the destroyer, because of the apostolic anointing God placed upon his life. But when God was not using him, or giving him instructions, you can see just how weak and fragile he truly was.
Even after God appeared, sent the angels to him, and told him to go, he still was afraid to go down and obey God.
Judges 6:27 KJV stated, “Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as The LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because HE FEARED his father’s household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.”
The LORD has not given His People a spirit of fear, but of both power and love and a sound mind!
God does not want His People to fear man or what people are saying about them, because “fear” can be one of the greatest tools and weapons of the enemy!
I believe that God used Gideon to reveal unto us that yes, without him we can do nothing!
Can fear be healthy? Yes, when like Gideon we turn and seek God’s guidance for wisdom and instructions it can be! But at the same time it can stifle our faith and our walk in God!
Yes, I believe that God wants to stretch the faith of His People in this season, to do a work for Him, but that can’t happen when they continue to walk in fear!
Fear you are not good enough, or capable of accomplishing the tasks and the assignment He has called you to do, always second guessing yourself in every decision, you ask, is God talking?
I believe He allowed us to see through Gideon’s own experiences even though He sends His People to do a work in the apostolic.
You are weak and fragile without the anointing of God, without His grace, or directions or instructions of how to defeat the enemy!
You see, As long as Gideon had God on his side you notice how when he blew the trumpet those that heard it gathered around him, because they knew it was something different about this particular sound that caused Abiezrites to come nigh unto him!
Gideon had many people following him, but God let him know that what he thought was his ways and his strategic plan to defeat the enemy was not in the plans of God at all.
Gideon was so fearful, he thought he needed an army to defeat the Midianites and Amalekites, but God proved to him that he only needed 300 brave men who were radical enough to lap like a dog to fight with him, and a few good men to get the job done!
God did not want any men who was afraid, to fight, and who didn’t want to get down dirty to fight with him (like the men who only bowed to drink) but he wanted some who were dogmatic and were willing to eat the enemy alive!
Come on somebody! Well what am I saying?
So many people are so busy trying to get everybody to be apart of their warfare but they are not trained or built for the assignment at hand like the men who bowed to drink!
Spiritual warfare ain’t cute but it calls for you to get down in the trenches and defeat enemies that will cover mud on their face and go days without food or water!
But, so many are pretending they have an apostolic anointing that they have not and do not understand that this anointing is a grace and a gift that comes about when God has a specific work assignment for his people to accomplish like he did Gideon!
Gideon like many of God’s people are so caught up in signs from God and him proving himself every step of the way that they forget that it is not by your might or neither is it by your power that this work is accomplished but it is by His spirit that we defeat the enemies in our lives!
But, one thing that God wants us to learn from Gideon is that his weaknesses and his inability to get things done is what caused God’s strength and His glory to be revealed in a time of great warfare!
“For man’s extremity is God’s opportunity of making his own power to be glorious: his time to appear for his people is when their strength is gone. Unbelief is a sin by which men greatly dishonour and displease God, and deprive themselves of the favours he has designed for them,” 2 Corinthians 1:8-11.
it wasn’t until Gideon went and obeyed God and cut down the altars that God allowed the people to changed his name to Jerub-Baal.
And, it wasn’t until he listened to the God that told him, “Get up and go down to the camp. I’ve given it to you. If you have any doubts about going down, go down with Purah your armor bearer; when you hear what they’re saying, you’ll be bold and confident.” He and his armor bearer Purah went down near the place where sentries were posted. Midian and Amalek, all the easterners, were spread out on the plain like a swarm of locusts. And their camels! Past counting, like grains of sand on the seashore! Gideon arrived just in time to hear a man tell his friend a dream. He said, “I had this dream: A loaf of barley bread tumbled into the Midianite camp. It came to the tent and hit it so hard it collapsed. The tent fell!” His friend said, “This has to be the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite! God has turned Midian— the whole camp!— over to him.” … (Judges 7:9-14 MSG)
I believe God is saying all that is fearful and afraid you are indeed in the wrong platoon and you had better go find that platoon that harbors the doubtful, fearful and unbelieving because in this battle God don’t want NO coward souls those who are too cute to lap like a dog and have refused to get down dirty in the trenches and the rough terrain to fight with the enemy!
Too cute soldiers will be killed or give away the secrets of the platoon at the first sign or sight of trouble!

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Thank you and sharing.
Amazing, halleluyah.
