Let Brotherly Love Continue
God is dealing with those who are committing abominations against him. He that soweth discord among the brethren is committing an abomination unto God. For what you are doing to the brethren, you are doing so unto him.
The bible outlines many abominations however, this is one that is most over looked by the body of Christ, simply because it is a matter of the heart condition and not one that is evident with the natural eye.
We are so quick to point out fleshly sins and abominations that are visible to the eye but, often disregard the ones that are hidden within the heart of man.
It is God alone who does search the hearts and he does know the secret resentments people have toward others. He is dealing with that in this hour.
It is vitally important that we have our hearts right toward God and one another. For the commandments are love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself.
This is not optional it is a command. How can we say we are working the righteousness of God if we are putting our mouths on one another and trying to sow discord whether directly or indirectly?
For God knoweth the hearts and the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.
The bible is clear that none will enter into the Kingdom or the fullness of God doing this because it is an abomination unto God.
Abomination – A thing that causes disgust or hatred, a feeling of hatred, detestation, loathing, hostility, evil, outrage, disgust.
“These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren,” Proverbs 6:16-19.
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever WORKETH ABOMINATION, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life,” Revelations 21:27.
“Let brotherly love continue,” Hebrew 3:1.
“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the WORKS OF DARKNESS, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in STRIFE and ENVYING. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof,” Romans 13:10-14.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, HATRED, variance, emulations, wrath, STRIFE, seditions, heresies, Envyings, MURDERS, drunkenness, REVELLINGS, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD,” Galatians 5:19-21.
“We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love,” 1 John 4:6-8.
“Beloved if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love (Godliness/God is love) is perfected in us,” 1 John 4:11-12.
“We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” 1 John 4:19-20.
(So who is a liar, but he that says he loves God and hates his brothers and sisters? We also know that no liar shall inherit the Kingdom of God.)
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that endure unto the end the same shall be saved,” Matthew 24:12-13.
“By this shall all men know ye are my disciples, if you have love one toward another,” John 13:35.
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,” Matthew 7:20.
