Lessons I Learned…..

Lessons I Learned….
Most people are too clever. Too wise. Too confident and too inexperienced to listen to advice from others that may save them from having to go through troubled waters and turbulent times.
Sometimes it is those who are fixed and that have it all together in their mind that needs to be broken so they may be fixed!
I have found that it is the broken who listen!
Those who have gone through a few things in life, who have learned to learn and who are eager to receive “Wisdom that comes from above”!
Don’t break your head over people that are headstrong – leave them and let them ride the waves of life.
They will come to learn, even if it may be painful in process.
The Question You Have to Ask Yourself Is…
“What do you want?”
What motivates you?
What drives you?
Do you want fame, or do you want to be effective in the Kingdom of God?
Do you want the applause of men, or do you want God to be able to trust you with His Power, His Work and His heart?
Are you looking for the spotlight, or are you willing to stand in His shadow so that He may be seen while you remain unknown, unheard of, ministering from a place of obscurity?
What do YOU want?
When the LORD called me into ministry in 1990, I cut a covenant with God – I prayed and said –
“LORD, I will go wherever you want me to go, and do whatever you want me to do, all I ask is that you will grant me this one thing – never let me be seen!
Never allow me to stand in your light!
Never allow people to glorify me for Your Work. Keep me in the shadow of Your Wing while you stand in the light”.
God has kept true and has answered my prayer. Many of the things that happened during the past 29 years since that prayer has never been spoken about and has always remained “In the shadow of his wing”.
Today I freely speak of them, because I have run my course in that arena of ministry.
Now God is seeking to raise up a new generation of true servants – prophets of the most high.
Now I am commissioned to share the things that He has done, so that others may hear, see and believe and that they may follow Him along the only journey that leads to coming to know Him as He truly is.
Today I can share the accounts of his miracles, how He raised the dead, how He walked in the midst of His People, performing creative miracle upon creative miracle, set communities ablaze with his fire. All while I remained hidden in the shadow of His Wing.
It is completely possible to walk with God and to do His Work without being famous or being idolised.
In fact it is the only way for truly knowing His authentic power!
What is showcased on TV remains a pale and pathetic picture, when compared to the masterpiece of His Work and His Presence evidently displayed where it has not been tainted with human hands.
It makes for the kind of stuff we read of in Bible times, the kind of stuff that the prophets saw and the apostles demonstrated!
I share the secrets of this life-experience with God and what I have learned and personally come to live through.
I share it not from the point of view of relaying what I have heard or read from others, but from what I have seen, touched and handled with my own hands.
I share this exclusively for those who have an ear to hear, who are hungry to walk with God…. and who are willing to do so while walking in obscurity.
True Prophets
True prophets do not lay hold of “God’s word, God’s power, the supernatural, signs, wonders and miracles or the “Gifts” of speaking mysteries”!
A true prophet lays hold of far more than that — a true prophet lays a hold of God himself!
True prophets are not about the things “About God” — they are all about God himself, for it is Him and Him alone they are called to represent in the very essence of who He is!
True prophets are called to be the Body on earth in whom God speaks through, through whom He is seen, felt and experienced. They do not minister — they manifest his word, his person and his presence!
*then Moses said, “Please show me Your Glory,” Exodus 33:18.
Infatuated…
Infatuated: Possessed with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone.
What God does not want you to be!
He does NOT want you to be possessed with a short-lived passion for signs, wonders and miracles.
He wants you to look into His true Glory (as being the person he is in the totality of his being) – so that what you see may become a permanent part of who you are and that you may go forth as being a true mirror of his person in every part of who he is, and of every attribute of his being!
