Know Who You Are
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Know Who You Are
Stand still
And know who you are
Stand still
Walk in the light
Spirit-filled child
Stay in the fight
Valiant warrior
Your glorious victory
Is by your King’s side
Stand still
And know who you are
Stand still
Walk in His Love
Each morning
Walk in His Mercy
Each evening
Your glorious being
Is by your King’s side
Brush off all the unworth
Brush off all the hurt
Brush off all the doubt
And know who you are
Not broken or shattered
Not unwanted or unloved
Not abandoned or forgotten
You belong to Him
In His Hands, a precious diamond!
Stand still
And know who you are
So deeply loved
You are His Creation set above the angels
Made in His Image
Given the Keys of the Kingdom
With Authority and Power
To rule and reign alongside
Your Great King, Jesus Christ
Stand still
Prepare your mind for action;
Be self-controlled;
Set your hope fully on the grace
To be given
When Jesus Christ
Your King is revealed….
And He puts the Crown of Life upon your head
And adorns you in a Robe of Righteousness
So stand still
Stand still,
Know that you are more
Than what you have been
In this life, in this world,
More than what you see
Looking back at you in the mirror
Oh know who you are
Oh really know!
Oh do you really know who you are?
Stand still, stand still, stand still….
And let Him reveal who you really are!

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
