What a God, Good Father!
Telling people that they need to quit sinning, just because God will be angry if they don’t, is like a father telling his child not to eat cookies because he will be mad at them if they do. That child is going to go for it for sure! We need to as a church begin to tell people why sin is bad for them and that they have a “GOOD, GOOD FATHER” who loves them and sees that this will hurt them and their families up ahead.
He died for this cause…. to redeem us from the sin nature, so that we have a desire for that which is good for us. Oh My! Yes, what a good,good Father we have!
I am thankful for your Son Jesus, who was willing to lay his life down, so that our Father would have many sons and daughters in His wonderful family and so that we could live with Him eternally, where sin is no more!
“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions. Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities — sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God. For sin will no longer be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under [unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favor and mercy],” Romans 6:12-14.
Know them by the Spirit
I just heard the Lord say:
“This is not a time to know one another by the flesh but only by the Spirit, for in these day I will speak to you in ways that you would not accept in the past!
I AM trying the reigns of My people.
I AM causing you to be discerning at an even deeper level.
It could mean life and death in these times.”
“It is time to truly discern the voice of your Father, who leads you into all truth and that truth may come from the most unrecognizable source! Those that draw close to me will know Me!
Do not discount people as you have in the past, because they may be carrying a Word of deliverance to you! Draw near…… “
In the silence
I hear the voice of the Father saying
“In the silence, you will hear the answers you seek!
In your hunger for the truth, you will gain My wisdom. but you must be still and know My voice today.
All of your hurrying about will not bring you any closer to that which you seek, only I can do that as you sit at my feet……”
A Prayer
Lord, we need an anointing to just be good wives, husbands, mothers,and fathers. Enable us to Love. We have no real love without yours!
We have no patience without your Spirit giving us peace in our waiting. We are not kind without you who are merciful making us merciful… Yes Lord, May we walk in your Spirit today for you are Love!
