An obvious picture today, but nevertheless another confirmation from The LORD of what we see happening today!

I see a porcelain jug. Nothing special, just a plain china jug. As I watch, a crack appears and begins to run through the whole jug, branching often and showing the occasional glint of light where a crack widens a little.

Then, quite suddenly, something that looks like gold begins to fill cracks. Starting with the big ones, the whole jug is ‘restored’ to wholeness, albeit much more beautiful than the original.

The LORD leads me to Google it and it looks like kintsugi — the beautiful Japanese art of repairing pottery with gold.

What started life as a plain old China or porcelain jug, cracked to breaking point, before being beautifully restored and becoming considerably more valuable.

I asked The LORD why I was seeing this?

“You are watching the world, particularly America and Europe, being destroyed by Satan and his hordes before being repaired and becoming much more valuable to Me!” said The LORD.

“The original jug was the “West” before the decline we’ve seen in the last few years.

The cracks began to appear as the world went downhill to the point, today, when it is ready to finally collapse and shatter into a million pieces.

Then you saw My plan of redemption in action replacing cracks and holes with the gold of My Kingdom, thus creating, or recreating the jug (western world) to My specification.”

Thus The LORD is revealing to us His plan, in broad terms, for the redemption of at least ‘the Western Church’ and the world around it.

I wondered about that phrase, ‘the Western Church’ – what is that?

My understanding is most of Europe, North America from Canada to the Caribbean, much of Southern Africa, and Australia/ New Zealand, plus many other ‘westernised’ States and Nations.

It’s difficult to be in any way precise but, as I understand through revelation, that’s it — and that’s probably only the start, but The Western Church in total is in such a bad way that it needs attention first.

The breaking jug that is The Church, is, as we would best understand it, ‘falling apart at the seams’!

A mixed metaphor maybe but we all know what it means.

There are still large areas of that Church faithful to their calling, or roughly so. But there are also large portions wandering so far from truth that only a renewal, an awakening, a revival … will provide a saving remedy.

Yes of course God could solve many of the problems instantly. He is after all their Creator!

But what might be left if He decided to throw much of it on the fire?

Yet, in His infinite Mercy and Love, He chooses to be more gentle with His repairs, hence the kintsugi approach — to piece back together with the gold of His love until The Church is, once again, fit for His purposes, and beautiful enough to be the Bride of Christ!

Yes this picture does have an obvious interpretation — but we so often simply overlook and bypass the obvious, searching for something deeper.

In this instance that ain’t gonna happen! God is about to mend His crumbling, disintegrating Church and rebuild it into the beautiful bride He seeks — a Bride fit for the Son of God!
