Who Am I Now?

When we go out of one season into the next, we seem to always lose people and things in our lives that is a part of the process, but then there is another part of the process.

We begin to ask ourselves, “Who am I now?”

Like… I was a wife — but now I am not, or I was a daughter — but now I am not.

Or we may say, “I was a Pastor — but who am I now?”

Knowing your Identity in this season will be key to knowing your Assignment.

When God is changing things in our life, we always go through this Hall of Transition, but know this — God is doing two things.

1) He is showing you who you are in Him alone in this season and,

2) He is taking you to a new place in Him.

Sometimes this place may seem like a demotion, because you would not have accepted this call in the last season.

But He is taking us to new Assignments with new Alignments, and knowing who we are in him alone is Key — and Obedience is the other key, no matter what we feel.

He must be all and all to go forward! …. And we must know that He is our Identity!
