Keep Your Mind on the Things Above

Keep Your Mind on the Things Above
Saints of God, when we desire to point fingers at others, pointing out their deficiencies and criticizing them, we’re aligning ourselves with the accuser of the brethren, the slanderer, Satan.
You have to break the agreement in allowing your mind to wander down this road, which leads to torment, condemnation, and feeling deficient.
The enemy will even give you the audacity to use God as a license to do this. This is contentious and brings strife. You have to resist this, pursue peace and enter God’s rest.
When I began to think about how others have mistreated me, I take my thoughts captive.
I admit it isn’t easy to do, and only God in us, grace, can do it. When these thoughts enter my mind, I say, I break the agreement with the accuser.
God showed me this during a fast at the beginning of the year. That no matter what others have done, the enemy wants you to stew on it, and think about it continually.
When I went through the fast, each time these thoughts would run through my head and I would break the agreement, immediately I felt God’s peace.
Saints, God will help you and deliver you! He will give you grace and sufficiency, to keep your mind on the things above.
God bless!
“For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).
And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]. James 3:16-18 AMPC.
A Pray You Know the Display of God’s Grace
I pray the sweetness of the fragrance of Christ Jesus, revealed in the Eternal Life that you’ve been given, is made known in a bountiful way to others, as the supply of the breath of God is given to you through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name.
I pray that you know the display of God’s grace in the Humility of Christ, as you esteem others better than yourself, laying your life down as a servant of the Most High, abounding in truth and hope, seeing the supply of God’s love, richly abounding within your heart and mind, giving you a firm footedness and ability to know the fullness of God’s joy within your members, as you’re supplied with an eternal strength, where life, love, and hope abound!
In Jesus’ Name!
Amen and amen!
God bless,
A saint crying out to God for fullness of deliverance and the manifestation of salvation.
