Keep on Looking Above — It is Just a Mix Up!
I heard, “Keep on looking above, it is just a mix up.”
The truth is that the enemy has laid hold on sight. Circumstances are being manipulated to destroy the faith of many.
But there is something that is beyond the enemy’s understanding, The Peace of The LORD. The LORD has declared this year to be a year of Restoration, hence in Peace, let our eyes be on the destination and not on the turbulent winds.
Yes, there is such a thing as a good profession of Faith. It is very pivotal in seeing the promises of God manifesting in our lives. We are told something incredible in the the letter to Philemon;
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus,” Philemon 1:6.
The word translated above for communication is the word koinonia which also means benefaction. The above verse says, that the benefit of your faith may become effectual or operative by the acknowledgement of every Good thing in you in Christ.
We are already blessed with all spiritual blessings, prosperity, joy, wealth, health, safety, security, power, every good thing is already in you in Christ. What brings out these blessings into manifestation is acknowledgement.
Now how do you acknowledge these things to see results?
They are two things that are key, we must believe that we already have every good thing in us. Jesus is the summation of all the blessings of God and He is already in us.
He is the blessings of God. He is our health, our provision, our joy, our peace, our safety, our security, our righteousness, He is our very life.
Whatever we need, He is our all. This is what we must believe. We must believe every good thing is already in us in Christ.
Then we must open our mouths and begin the confession of what we believe.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation,” Romans 10:10.
When we truly believe confession follows, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. When we believe we are in right relationship with God, we are in agreement with God but it doesn’t end there, we must confess what we believe to experience the salvation.
Look at this again;
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak,” 2 Corinthians 4:13.
True believing goes with speaking. This is complete acknowledgement. We must speak the things we believe to see them in existence.
A lot of us stop at just believing. We believe, but go back to God and keep asking him to give us the things he has already given to us!
If we believe every good thing is already in us, the next thought should be how to get it out not — to go back to God and keep begging as though he is withholding something good from us!
Confession of what we believe is pivotal. It is key to experiencing salvation. All I need in life is already on my inside, the start up capital for every business inspired by God is already on your inside.
You start by saying what you believe like; “LORD, I believe you are my health!” “I confess I am healthy!” “LORD, I believe you are my provision!” “I proclaim I am provisioned in this assignment!” “LORD, I believe you are my refuge!” “I declare I am protected!” “I am underneath the arms of my God,” etc..
If your heart can believe this, it doesn’t matter how long, your mouth will produce it. Look at this;
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life,” Proverbs 4:23.
That you may see this, the issues of our lives do not come from the outside but from within. What you see around you today is the manifestation of the things in your heart.
The Word used above for issues is from the Hebrew word — תּוֹצָאוֹת — tôtsâ’âh, which means source, (Strong’s Concordance H8444).
The heart is the source of the realities we experience. If Christ dwells richly in our hearts, we are sure to produce divine life in all we do. Now look what The LORD says on this;
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things,” Matthew 12:35.
Observe carefully the above verse, it does not say out his heart he brings forth good thoughts but “good things“! Substance!
If your heart can see it, if your heart can believe you already have it in you, whatsoever you believe, God has vested you with the power to producing.
This statement is general, man in general brings forth things from his heart. Your future is not in the hands of a man, your life is in your hands, right within you.
This is why the right profession of your Faith is very important. You just have to be stingy with your mouth, to keep words of death out of it, for look at this;
“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof,” Proverbs 18:20-21.
You are satisfied with the fruit of your lips. As your confession increases towards God you are filled with the things of God even the more. Death and life are not far but right in our mouths, we eat the fruit of what we say.
Hence, we are commanded to keep the profession of our faith, what we believe has done, whether we see the immediate manifestation or not, for he that has promised is faithful.
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;” (for he is faithful that promised) Hebrews 10:23.
In an encounter with The LORD I saw a Christian, things around him very mixed up, things frenzied around him by the enemy to create panic. But I saw as he struggled to keep his eyes on God. Then I heard The LORD say to him “Keep on looking above!”
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of The LORD, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by The Spirit of The LORD,” 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Then The LORD said, “Keep on looking above, it is just a mix up. Do not relent, but fix your gaze on your God, for you are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by The Spirit of The LORD.”
