Keep in the Flow of the Spirit
Do not allow your emotions to rule over your spirit man It cost Moses the promise land. Moses acted out of anger and smote the rock.
This was Moses’s last test before entering the promise land and even though he was so close that he could see it within eye view, God did not permit him to enter, simply because he allowed his flesh man to rule over his spirit.
Be careful with your words and action because they do effect others as well as God. Be swift to speak and slow to hear.
Let your words be those which do edify and minister grace to the hearers. Our words and actions that are outside of the Spirit are merely the flesh man and these actions and words have the power to bring life or death. They can destroy or build up and edify.
God would not allow anyone to enter into the promise land / Kingdom, who can not crucify and rule over the flesh carnal nature, for He knows if He did that they would have to be plucked out of the land for it would become greatly defiled.
The Bible declares that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh, and it is those things that proceed out of our mouths that do come from the heart that can and does defile us and others.
Jesus said for without me you can do nothing. In order to stay in the continuous flow of the Spirit allowing the water / Spirit of God to continually flow from you, then you must stay fruitful by abiding in the vine, (Jesus/Word), by being a doer of the Word not a hearer only deceiving your own selves.
This is the only way you can yield fruit, for it is by your fruits that you will be known. Jesus said if you abide in Me and my words abide in you, you can ask Me what you will and it will be granted unto you.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law, and they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts thereof.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another, Galatians 5:22-24.
We as Christians must continuously examine our own hearts to see if we are really operating by faith that comes from hearing and doing His Word that His nature may flow freely from us to others.
It is His desire that we become one with him and be partakers of his divine nature and character the He alone may be glorified within us.
Continue to press into the promises of God and enter into all that he has designed for you. Be careful with your words and repent when you need to.
Do not allow the spirit pride and contention to enter into you and cause division and strife, for the Bible declares that where there is strife there is every evil work.
Give no place to the devil, who only comes that he may steal, kill, and destroy. Allow the Spirit of God to continually flow from you.
When you fall short be quick to repent. Choose life that ye may live.
“For death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof,” Proverbs 18:21.
