Just Pray!
Beloved, if there was anything I could ever say to you significantly in this time, no matter what you have going on in your life, know that prayer is the proving ground, the breeding ground, and the very foundation of your life.
How our lives will succeed, and how it will go will all stem from prayer. The most important call to accept from God is prayer. Not to get things, not to beg, not to talk about others but to just diligently keep and maintain strong communication with the one you love.
How can you love so deeply and not yearn to talk to the one you love?
Prayer is a living, loving conversation to the one who is so intricately intertwined in their life as your life is intertwined in theirs.
-
Prayer is like a new melody to a new song.
-
Prayer is like a cool drink of water on a hot dry parched day.
-
Prayer is like a place to run into when you need safety from a storm.
-
Prayer is like a bed where you can rest your head when tired and weary.
-
Prayer is like an answer to a heart searching for truth.
-
Prayer is like ascending into heaven with purpose and keen direction.
-
Prayer is like a well watered garden from which life flows and grows.
-
Prayer is the meeting place for intimacy with your Lord, your deliverer, your master, your Father and your King.
In ministry it is your first step into a future with God and an everlasting dwelling place. It is your covering, your garment, and your expression of Holiness. Your first true stand and commitment to Christ Jesus. It is your most significant vow that you will ever fulfill as His bride.
Today I meditated on these scriptures:
“Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life,” Proverbs 4:23 (NASB).
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks,” Luke 6:45 (KJV).
The diligence of prayer will keep you and guard your heart. In prayer your heart will be purified, cleansed and made new! So that when out of your heart…… your mouth will begin to speak, there will be good things spoken and there will be no defilement. Selah.

Romans 8:26-27 (NKJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us[a] with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
