Just Keep Going!
A couple of days ago I was thinking about a friend whom I haven’t seen in a few months.
As soon as she came to my mind, I felt that the LORD had a word for her to “Just Keep Going”.
I didn’t know what was happening in her personal life. I texted her and she replied saying that she was going through the most difficult time of her life.
I was devastated when I heard what she had to say. She has been through horrendous battles in the past few years just as I have.
We are both warriors and I know that we will come out victorious in the months ahead.
For those of you who are also going through tough battles, I want to encourage you to “Just keep going.”
In the Book of John chapter six, Jesus fed five thousand people by supernaturally multiplying five loaves of bread and two small fish.
When his disciples were in a boat, he walked to them on the water after they had been rowing awhile.
As soon as he got into the boat they were “instantly” on the other side.
They had seen all these miracles but when he spoke about eating his flesh and drinking his blood, the religious crowds became furious.
Many of his own disciples left Him saying: “This is a hard teaching, who could understand it”?
But then He turned to His twelve disciples and asked them: “Do you want to leave also?” Simon Peter answered, “LORD, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Some of you have also thought about walking away from the LORD but then you remembered that He is your creator and there is nothing to turn back to.
No matter what battle you are facing, just keep going no matter how difficult things get.
Then the LORD showed me a scripture in Psalms 89. The LORD was speaking to David and he is speaking the same thing over you.
He has anointed you with His holy oil. You shall be established in his hand. His arm will strengthen you. The enemy will not outwit you, nor the son of wickedness afflict you.
He will beat down your foes before your face, and plague those who hate you. His faithfulness and His mercy will be with you and in His name your horn shall be exalted, (Psalm 89:20-24).
“I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established; also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague those who hate him. “But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted,”” Psalms 89:20-24.
“Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle,” Psalm 144:1.
“From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “LORD, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” John 6:66-69.
