Joy in the Morning!
I Prophesy that there shall be joy in the morning! (Psalm 30:5)
I am listening to an old Darlene Zschech album Revealing Jesus from around 2013.
There is a joy, a bounce, in the music. A live audience helps of course, but there is victory in the sound of these songs.
Not to everyone’s taste of course, but nevertheless music of joy and victory — and an excited and exuberant audience cheering them on! Each track cheered and applauded with great joy and enthusiasm!
Then I heard The LORD prompt me with my opening verse, which we all know and love,
“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5.
I wondered about this and He showed me all the discouragement and discord in the world at the moment.
Then He said, “My anger is real. My correction is painful.
But when I loose My Spirit upon you there will be great shock — even horror — and many tears of remorse, of repentance, of grief and sorrow.
Yet afterwards there shall be great joy and My people shall rejoice once again. My Word speaks of ‘joy unspeakable and full of glory. (1Peter 1:8)
This joy shall fill My People despite worldly circumstances, and in that joy shall come healing, deliverance, mercy, and salvation!” says The LORD.
“I say to My People, as did Nehemiah to His People, despite what you see around you, ‘Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of The LORD is your strength.’ (Nehemiah 8:10)
My Joy shall fill your hearts and your voices once again!” declares The LORD.
Stand by for the sounds of joy and victory are about to resound in the church once more.
Doom and gloom shall be no more as the joy of The LORD returns to our meetings!
“whom having not [a]seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,” 1 Peter 1:8.
“Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”” Nehemiah 8:10.

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
I listen to Darlene and Hillsong all of the time.
Love them.
Such a comforting reminder Chris. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Sandi
