Mark 9:4 is a short verse, but impactful. What do you notice about it?

The verse says “….. and Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.”

A short and sweet message is what we receive from this verse: Elijah and Moses showed up. They made their appearance known to talk to Jesus.

There are many important things to do in Heaven, and Elijah and Moses could have stayed back and done work there, but instead they showed up to see Jesus. They did their part — they talked to Him!

Jesus is wanting us to be like Elijah and Moses — showing up and talking with Him — even when we are tired. For Jesus will recharge us and bring excitement and joy back into our hearts.

The Holy Spirit says: “My People — for I have heard your cries and your wants and I know the burdens you have to bear.

But listen to Me as I give you some instruction.

It is important for you all to come to Me — even in your tiredness for I can help you. I can heal you.

Spend some time with Me and allow Me to set your mind on Me and set your mind straight.

Many good things happen when you surrender to Me.

Find time for Me. It is well worth it.”
